This sub-plot with Starbuck is slowing the story down, IMO.

24 always has stupid subplots about characters and their personal issues that slow the story down to a grinding halt. Remember when the CTU boss during season 4 had her psycho daughter? Who committed suicide under the watch of the CTU doctors despite being their only patient?

I don't like this subplot at all. It's ridiculous...she can assume a new identity and get a job with CTU (which is all fairness is the easiest thing to do in the world of 24) but can't shake off her white trash boyfriend?

I'm guessing the annoying time delay I read about in an early review is Jack getting caught by the cops.

Chloe is terrific though.

I had managed to block that out of my mind till you mentioned it... Thanks

:guffaw:

I'd completely forgotten that one. the first inane subplot I thougth of was the one with Sean Astin's character. Regardless, I agree... these never seem to add much at all to the story

I don't know if Hastings is laughing or can't believe she wasn't lying with that look on his face.

In 2015 cell-phone coverage still kind-of sucks even in New York City on the Sprint Network.

Cell phones... OF THE FUTURE!!!

I kinda like this twist that the person being blackmailed or manipulated is a visiting dignitary and not the garden-variety CTU employee of US government official.
