They mention Taylor's husband for a reason. He either has something to do with it, or will show up later in the season. They rarely do throwaway lines in this show. Heck, they didn't even ecplain the absence of Chase, at least yet.
She seems almost too obvious as well. But whoever it was apparently did hack into Meredith's (the reporter's) computer
