20th Century Fox 75th Anniversary

Flying Spaghetti Monster

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Here is their celebratory site, with new golden posters to celebrate. Although I'm glad they used Independance Day, I'm surprised they didn't use Star Wars. My favorite poster is the The Day the EArth Stood Still, somehow it just seems funny that a helpless, screaming damsel is trapped for all time in all-gold emblazoned treatment.

^Knowing the machine that is LucasFilm, it was probably too much trouble to do.

I do like the Butch and Sundance, one. That is awesome.

I wonder if Omnius has seen the glory of the Golden Scrat?

OMG! I want that poster! It's awesome!

Thanks auntiehill!

My fav was the Day The Earth Stood Still one. Not Suprising, As I have the regular poster in my room.

"Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" is such a fun a movie. That "The Day the Earth Stood Still" poster is indeed fantastic, but it always amuses me that there's a damsel in distress in the posters for the movie. They're just reinforcing some evil robot sci-fi stereotype when in fact in the movie Gort never actually terrorizes any women and is actually quite harmless for the most part.

You're welcome.

That poster is completely awesome. You MUST buy it and put it in the center of your home----with spotlights on it.
