Is The Last of Us not a “genre show”? That seems to have done well in the nominations. Much as The X Files and Quantum Leap did well back in the Berman era.

True. I should've said that there's always been a bias, but there have been exceptions and it's lessened in recent years.
Practically speaking? Watching it, there seems to be something of one.
