Maybe it's an advanced copy. But if so, then it's one heck of a really poor review.
This book has been delayed multiple times, because Goodman is working on The Orville. It was going to be out in 2018, 2019 and 2020 -- but then Una's Janeway autobiography replaced it last year, and then Una got the gig to write the Spock book.
That review is FAAAAAAAKE! Goodman never wrote the book, because if he had, it would've been published under his name.
Also, Una only just delivered the Spock manuscript in the last couple of months. It hasn't even been delivered to CBS for review yet.

If he had an advance copy, I would expect that pointing out the author change would be a priority.
Is the temporal apocalypse in Coda the litverse depiction of the Romulan supernova?
We won't know that until closer to the books' release, or after they come out. But I hope it isn't. After all, Picard established that the 2387 supernova was anticipated 5-6 years in advance, but there's been no hint of it coming in the novels as late as 2386. There's no physical mechanism by which it would've been detectable in advance in one timeline but not in another, so that implies that it doesn't happen at all in the Novelverse, or at least not until years later. And both of the Picard tie-in novels to date have vaguely hinted that the supernova might have been artificially induced, which means it wouldn't necessarily have happened in the Novelverse.
I just noticed that Nicholas Meyer has recently (ie. March 2021) narrated an unabridged audio version of his 2009 book, "The View From the Bridge: Memories of Star Trek and a Life in Hollywood"!
