I like it when the Mets or Yankees play games in Florida, it's like NYC south. I love listening to the Lets Go Mets chants drown out the Rays fans.

I remember the same thing happening during Knicks-Heat games in the late-90s, and always found it amusing that there seemed to be more transplanted New Yorkers at games in both Miami and Orlando than either Heat or Magic fans.

Michael Bourn would have been traded for himself then. This was to get rid of the Chris Johnson contract and then turn around and flip Bourn in the middle of next season if he gets his shit together.

That used to happen in Baltimore all the time. First time I went to Camden Yards, it was a Yanks/O's series in '12 and the crowd was like 80% Yankee fans. I don't think it's like this anymore.

Before the Rockies came into being, the Cubs were popular all over the midwest and west due to WGN being a superstation & WGN radio being AM.
Still lots of Cub fans at road games all over the midwest.

It depends. Baltimore is by and large more of a football city than it is a baseball city, and attendance at Orioles games generally doesn't pick up until August or so, and even that depends on whether or not they're sniffing the postseason. The plus side of that is that it's ridiculously easy to get cheap tickets, especially during the week.

Minor leagues too. We see Iowa Cub fans in Omaha all the time at Werner Park (my dad has season tickets to the Storm Chasers). The Cubs and the Memphis Redbirds all have a ton of fans who come here.
