I've always absolutely hated the fact that the rules of hockey seem to change once the playoffs start. It's appalling.

Makes me wish TSN won the contract, even if I had to put up with James Duthie.

Agreed. The Jets games that aren't on the national broadcasts during the season are on TSN3 and those guys are great! (Except Gary Lawless, but he only shows up during intermission, so he's easy to ignore.)

Last night's game wasn't as bad - at least until the 3rd period when things went off the rails again.

Some quality commentary from the Sportsnet guys following last nights Ducks-Jets game though:

"if you don't cheat you're not trying hard enough"

Sportsnet had an opportunity to bring in some new blood, but they decided to plug holes with re-treads. I will never understand how Kypreos got his current position. Other than being knocked out cold, what was her remembered for?

Another thing that bugs me is how lost these guys look with the technology.

Jets were finished last night. Ducks took all 4 games.

Fair number of mistakes on our end and not enough goals. Oh well.

I'd be surprised if they can pull out a win tonight too. It's hard getting anything past Price. The only reason they put one past him last game was because he was screened.

Well they managed to pull two wins out before losing the series last night. Although who knows how it all would have ended if the ref hadn't blown a call last night and denied the Senators a goal that by all rights should have counted.

They made it a compelling series at least. Price is such a great goalie under pressure though, he was stopping everything. It was a fun game 6.

Now I'm really intregued by this Calgary/Anaheim match up. I think the Ducks will win the series, but I can see the Flames get a game or two, at least on home ice.
