Well there is a new boss at CW but it was said he would have a limited role in the make up of the Fall line-up. I expect Nikita to still be cancelled espcially after The Ringer has come over from CBS.

The Futon Critic gives you more targetted info but they need to update it faster. They still haven't updated the description of the show. It's a haunted house horror story show starring Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott with Evan Peters as a teenage psycho cult leader (???) and Jessica Lange as the noisy next door neighbor. They haven't announced when it will air, but this coming fall seems a good guess.

I'm just amazed that nobody thought to check first. That's just a little bit rude!
There's a slight difference in economics (not to mention subject matter) in producing a show for CBS vs the CW!!!They always do that, but they don't have much to pick up so they're boring anyway.
I was actually thinking earlier it was a pity Ringer wasn't in contention at the CW since it would have a much better chance of success there and... voila!

CBS can't even take one little risk. Seems like failure is not an option over there. I agree with their decision though. Ringer is a better fit on CW at least on paper. It would probably fail on CBS.
Persons of Interest is a no-brainer with such a high profile cast and producers.

It's kinda sorta dark. Greyish, even!Pilots that are still alive and twitching.
Exit Strategy is being retooled for midseason - needs more character - FOX is probably gloating that their "Seal Team 6" series will beat everyone else's anyway.
Locke & Key is being shopped around to basic and premium cable. Great - that's where it belongs!!! (Please skip skiffy tho.

FOX will give Breaking In a try out on Tues night, with other comedies. My bet is that the ratings don't fall, thus proving that it does have its own following and wasn't coasting on Idol's coattails.
Well, so far, everything that I expected that would get canceled...got canceled. lol. Here's hoping that CBS will pick up Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods...

NBC has closed the deal to pick up The Firm.
It looks like NBC wants to hold Smash back to midseason so it can partner up with The Voice, it would make sense since Smash should do well paired with the reality hit. However that means come midseason they could come in to completely take over a night meaning a lot of moving around shows in January. I assume Voice with become a Tuesday show to avoid Idol so I guess they could just make The Biggest Loser a fall show only.
They probably expect to flop in the fall
From what I hear though NBC seem very confident in their midseason lineup despite the fact come late March you begin to feel the effect auduence erosion that is getting bigger every year.
NBC's new pilots are such a break with recent seasons (full of exciting ideas instead of boring ones, what a concept!) that all bets are off how they do this fall.
I suspect Comcast will throw bargefulls of money at marketing the new shows and give NBC a decent shot at actually fulfilling their brand-resurrection that they are attempting.

I think Comcast might have to wait 12 months to see real change in the ratings but this season could shape up to help the network rebuild its image somewhat.
