2009 Crapfest Begins!

Ok a quick update. Yesterday they spent the day scanning, testing, and probing all her squishy parts and poking and prodding her in ways that made her VERY cranky. Funny when I poke her and prod her in those places she enjoys it. Ah well.

I took her a 2lb Bacon Sandwich in the evening and she calmed down quite a bit.

This morning they stuck her in a tube and scanned her extensively, this afternoon they are sticking her in a different tube to run a totally different scan on her. This is to determine (in conjunction with yesterday's testing) if there is any other cancer anywhere else.

Tomorrow they do a detailed 3D scan of JUST her leg and then they plan to take extensive samples... read that biopsy.

After that they plan to discharge her, review the scan results and bring her back within a week to ten days for actual treatment.

Her biggest complaint so far is while the food is "good" they don't serve enough. So since she's not on restrictions of any sort I'm going to bring her a big-ass pizza tonight. :D

...also she reports she is going to attempt to seduce one of the night-shift nurses because he is "walking hot-ness." That ought to be amusing either way. Poor fool has no idea, hopefully he's on another floor tonight 'cause she'll destroy him. :D

Well, good luck to her-- on all counts. :D I hope everything works out as well as it possibly can, health-wise. :bolian:
