Does anybody else know the TNG book Dark Mirror by Peter David? There are so many themes and aspects of that book being used oh so well in these new episodes. They talk about string theory a lot in the book and the whole "spores throughout the cosmos" deal is a direct rip from that concept. The way they defeat Mudd this time with his own ego and sense of pride is the same way they get rid of Trelane as well in the book Q Squared. Genius stuff. Anybody else noticing this?
