While we're at it, why do women feel compelled to replace things like fridges when the one we have works perfectly fine!?!
Years ago, Hubby gave me an IOU on, well, it was mat board (like picture frame mats) so it would stay in good shape. It said that it was "good for one year's worth of love, hugs, and kisses...renewable each year." One of the nicest presents he's given me, ya know? A gift from the heart is always the best gift--but something tangible to help remember isn't so bad.
And it's "paper." 1st anniversary and all.

For a guy who swears he doesn't have a romantic bone in his body ("Except one!" he says), he can be awfully romantic!
