1st trailer for "Snow White & The Huntsman"

Why?? Why did it have to be that Stewart woman?

This could've actually been watchable with a different female lead.

I mean, don't get me wrong, she's a beautiful and all but jesus, girl, your face has muscles! Use them!

I think she comes across perfectly fine in the trailers. She's more expressive with her eyes than most teenage actresses are with their entire body, and comes across like a real, vulnerable girl lost in the wilderness.

The only criticism I have is just that she looks a little too modern for a fairytale story.

Just wanted to post a reminder that this is coming out Friday. I'm really excited for this.

Same here.

And it looks like we don't have to worry about Mirror Mirror stealing this movie's thunder. That movie came and went so fast it barely even made a blip on the radar. I bet most people aren't even aware it came OUT already. Lol

For some reason, this post made me laugh out loud. I would agree, Stewart is a middling actress.

Out on Wednesday here. I have a day off and not much planned, might have to check it out

I know I already said this in the Prometheus thread, but I really want to see this movie. This is just a great summer for movies.

So far Metacritic (my usual source for movie/tv/game reviews) has 3 reviews up and each one is a 60/100, and so it looks like I'll probably be seeing this. Since I don't usually agree with the critics that much, I'll watch anything that doesn't get absolutely horrible reviews.

Saw it. It was ok, started off pretty good, but then sagged pretty heavily in the middle, and the ending was nothing but predictable (and I've never even seen Snow White)

Granted I was pumped to see this anyways, Ebert's review makes it sound like the type of movies I love. Namely sword and sorcery/fantasy epics. Coupled with the all-star cast that they have playing the Dwarfs, this movie sounds better than I could have imagined.

Now before I get ahead of myself, I'm basing that on the review and know that I could interpret the movie completely differently than Ebert did, but we'll see...

I saw it last night. The film was pretty poor for the most part. Good visually and the dwarves were alright, but otherwise it just wasnt enjoyable.

It is not a patch on the Alice in Wonderland film of the same vein from a few years ago.

And Kirsten Stewart is a terrible, terrible actress.
