The last episode was shit! For the first time watching Star Wars The Clone Wars I actually turned the channel half way in! I never knew something set in the Star Wars universe could be so BORING! :scream:

trade shipments!
school lunch searches!
"lost the will to live girl" skulking around watching smugglers!
meetings
MORE meetings

OMFG!

BORING!!!

It did seem to end a bit abruptly, with no real resolution, but after seeing the preview for the next show, 'Corruption' was just the set-up for next week, IMO.

It certainly wasn't the best episode, but it wasn't the worst either. It didn't even have Jar Jar in it ;)

Personally whenever an episode doesn't have a single Jedi or Sith in it, my interest is drastically reduced.

Very much agree. Also, it's a shame this depiction of Mandalore seems to have killed the "Republic Commando" EU books to a point where the author decided not to write them anymore and they're subsequently killing off the series.

Besides one or two mentions of "death watch" this could have been Chandrila or even Alderaan.

I think that Star Wars started to get boring for me during the crawl at the beginning of TPM. A Star Wars crawl should not have the word "taxation" in it! Having said that, this current Clone Wars series is very uneven. There have been some really fun ones---eps that might even be worthy of live-action treatment---and there have been some real snooze-fests. One of the most uneven shows on TV. Even the voice work is uneven. It ranges from brilliant to amateurish.

I also thought this week's episode was a snoozer. If they wanted to shoehorn Padme into this point in the season, they could have come up with something a bit more exciting than this story.

The show seems to be getting more and more dull. It certainly hasn't really improved since the first season.

We're two seasons in, and I still can't get used to everyone looking like a Thunderbirds marionette. I thought I'd be over it by now, but damn it, I'm not.

I generally don't mind the quiet, dramatic, change-of-pace stories, but I have to agree, this one was just boring. It seems the whole thing was nothing more than a setup for next week, and I don't see why the whole thing couldn't have been skipped.

And really, how incompetent are the Mandalorean investigators that it didn't even occur to them to test the soda that all the poisoned kids were drinking until Padme (or the Duchess, I forget) suggested it?

This season isn't really starting off all that well. Not enough Obi-Wan and Anakin. Are they on vacation?

I stopped acquiring this and threw out my copies of the entire series. It just is not holding my interest.

But then, I've discovered "Breaking Bad" and not a lot else can stand up to that.

school lunch searches!

Unfortunately, the situation presented in the show is all too real these days. It is probably more relevant than lightsabers not that it's why we tune into Clone Wars. At least there was some action in the raid. It didn't help that it was a lot like the previous Ahsoka episode.

If that is your first time viewing though it's not really the show at its best.

Have we even seen Ahsoka yet?

I enjoy the series overall. I think the CG has really improved to this point, and I think they really do the action & Jedi stuff really well. However, I guess a lot of it has to do with the writing, and if it's a boring script, it'll probably end up being a boring episode.
