Mendes- Watch out Nolan. I'm coming for you. The movie is also told in one shot Feels like Dunkirk 2.0
Damn, just watching that featurette is breathtaking, both as a film watcher and as a photographer. Not a bad thing, if you ask me. I love that film and I love how this film looks like it's cut from the same cloth, but to tell a different story.
This does look really good. So how does the one shot thing work? Does that mean that once they started filming they had to go through from beginning to end, and if something went wrong and they had to stop, then they'd have to go all the way back to the beginning and start again? I read an article where they did mention cutting away, but if they cut away wouldn't that mean it's not one shot?
