14 F here, feels like 0 F. We had the mini blizzard here yesterday. Lasted 15-20 minutes, then the temperature dropped and turned most of our major highways into a skating rink.

Our coldest temperature ever at sea level in Hobart is -2.9C (about 27F) so I can't even begin to imagine the temperatures that you people are talking about.

The lowest temperature ever recorded anywhere in Tasmania is -13C (8.6F).

Right. You got a dusting of snow this year. Let me just remind you it's -20 here in Ottawa, feels like -33 with the windchill, and as for snow, we had two separate, out-of-the-blue white-outs yesterday. So there.
