13th Doctor and Liverpool

Mr. Laser Beam

I recently became a huge Liverpool FC fan so naturally I liked this scene. :)

Only thing is: As soon as the Doctor turns around and sees Anfield, she immediately exclaims "Klopp era!" How does she know that? For all she knows it could be the Slot era! ;)

Edit: Just thought of something else. The Doctor says that she's attended a particular Liverpool/Barcelona match nine times. But wouldn't the Blinovitch Limitation Effect - assuming it's still a thing, and not just another bit of continuity that got thrown away - prevent her from attending the same match multiple times?

Or does she mean as different regenerations? Would this prevent the Effect from kicking in?

I'm thinking as different incarnations. The Doctor has mentioned seeing the moon landing more than once (four times as the Tenth Doctor alone), so I'd imagine that on July 20 1969 there were several pubs with Doctors in them, a number of TARDISes just watching from above the lunar surface, and of course the Eleventh Doctor's own shenanigans around the event.

As such, for lots of history's big to-dos, I'm sure there are various Doctors in attendance in one way or another.

Aargh! I totally forgot about The Three Doctors and The Five Doctors. Simply having multiple incarnations present at an event would not cause Blinovitch to kick in. Otherwise those episodes would not be possible.

I really should actually watch this episode. Apparently the Doctor was also a ball boy during the aforementioned Liverpool/Barcelona match and even gave tips to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
