Anyone else watch this on syfy?

I thought it was pretty good.
It was interesting. I will give it a few weeks trial run.
Not sure it will work long term...

I watched it. I liked it. I will keep watching. I'm a big fan of the movie, but I don't know how they will sustain a series for very long.

Thought I had read it was going to have a 13 week run but a) not sure if that the series or a season and b) I can't find where I read it - though it was the wikipedia entry but it's not there now.

IMDB is saying that some of the actors are signed on for ten episodes, which does not include Cole and Cassie for some off reason. But then I do like the odd magic episode where the "stars" are not the all focus.

Schitt's creek is more subtle than I thought it would be.

Can some one tell me if the brother is gay or just well groomed and ultra wealthy?

It seems like his character is gravitating towards Emilys unless he likes boys.

**Sigh**

IMDB is also claiming 13 episodes on it's season page, but it only has episode names for the first ten episodes, which is why they are only giving the actors credits for the first ten.

Did anyone else take advantage of the 24 hour stream of episodes 2 online and on demand? Felt much better about after watching both than I did after just episode 1

I only watched the first 15 minutes... it was a beat by beat repeat of the movie. I've already seen the movie many times, so it didn't hook me to keep going.

Can't comment on the actual show as the episode is on the PVR to watch but it's interesting that it's on Showcase (in Ontario at least) instead of the Space Channel.

Showcase seems to do a better job of sci-fi than Space does on occasions. It showed Continuum and Defiance and various quality sci-fi movies frequently show up in the schedule.

Episode 2, was a little better , but also showed me the ceiling.

I now know not to over expect.

Its just going to be about running and blowing up shit but I'm good with that.

Either they don't have a lot of money to play with, or there's a big episode somewhere in the middle they blew their wad on.

First two episodes weren't too bad. Some bits followed the movie a little too closely, and the acting is... uneven. I'll keep watching.

I've only watched the first episode so far, but I enjoyed it. I haven't seen the movie in years and don't remember it, so I'll be judging purely on the show.

Saw both episodes, I liked it. Some of it does run close to the movie, but there are also many differences also. We are already getting some divergence from the film with Tom Noonan's character and his group. Interested to see where the series goes.

Watching, and hoping this series takes off.

Pilot was cool, but I was snoozing by second episode ending. Blah, blah, blah. It was like being in the class of that professor with the droning voice.

I need to watch that one again but getting sleepy just thinking about... ZZZzzzzz

I enjoyed the second episode. I like the fact that Cole will be going back and forth in time. I figured before it stated that this would be more of a Continuum kind of thing where he is pretty much just dumped in our time and left to figure everything out there.
