That's cool. I like Naomi Watts and I liked Gypsy though apparently many people didn't. I'm intrigued to see her as part of the cast.

I am excited. We will not only learn more about the creation of the Night King (who he is, how he got captured by the Children of the Forest) but we will get to meet Bran the Builder, Lann the Clever and Durrandon Godsgrief.
A new teaser/trailer doesn’t require filmed footage. It can be an abstract animation matching a thematic concept that clearly holds a GOT motif. They’ve used this process before for prior seasons. If they’re filming in a few weeks they already have a script and long range plan. That’s all they would need to whet our beaks.

I mean the Age of Heroes lasted like 4000 years, it would be hella-weird if all those legendary figures just happen to be contemporaries and all the interesting events that happened during that time just happen to fall in a few year period that a TV show will cover...
Brandon the Builder and Durran Godsgrief are at least possible to have been contemporaries based on some of the stories presented in their mythmaking. Can't say for Lann the Clever, for whom we don't appear to have much in the way of possible overlap with other legendary figures save for his possible progenitors.
There are rumours which might be totally wrong that Naomi Watts is going to be a female Lann the Clever.
Had to look him up. That would be interesting to see, especially considering Tywin's gloating about Lann's hoodwinking over Casterly Rock.
Will we even see the pilot episode? Isn't it usually the norm that a pilot gets made, decision makers get to see it, then they green light or not. Then the pilot ends up as the first episode in the series run. If HBO balks after the pilot is made, we may never see it .... right?
They should do the Dance of the Dragons instead.
