    Reunion: Proof of Worf's Innocence

I watched this one last night for the first time in at least a decade. To be honest as an adult I'm much less interested in the Klingons than as a child. A lot of the honour conversations feel like manufacturing drama as there isn't all that much depth to them. For a race that is so prominent in...

Game Kinda Sus': Among us group finder

If you create a profile it allows you to have free chat again. On the main screen there is a button on the left asking you to log in, just go through that. And you're right, the new map is huge. I played with some friends at the weekend but had one too many drinks before starting and barely got...

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x13 - "That Hope Is You, Part 2"

That's how to get out of bed in the morning if you're doing it right.

The Golden Age of TV Is Over

VEEP is an adaptation of The Thick of It depicting American politics and politicians instead of British, I said "semi-spinoff" because it is not a straight spinoff. Both shows were developed by Armando Iannucci, and VEEP, at least for the first few seasons, is largely the same the writing and...

The Golden Age of TV Is Over

Yeah, I think you are right about the 90s, and I believe that percentage wise we are probably closer to the ratio of good to bad shows of the 90s then the mid-2000s. You're right about the Sopranos, it's not always straight up ridicule, but there is undeniable ridicule. The prime example, I...

The Golden Age of TV Is Over

I like some of those shows (But I will point out that you can't really say VEEP is a show that was something incredibly new since it is a semi-spin-off from The Thick of It/In The Loop and is very similar to those), but look at how few you've named. The Sopranos came out in 1999, that's not a...

The Golden Age of TV Is Over

The Golden Age of Television, if we are to vaguely define that as post-Sopranos (which obviously means excluding all the great shows in the 90s that preempted it), is long over I would say. Things like The Wire showed the potential for long-form drama to do something new, but then not much else...

What games do you play over and over

It's a shame Telltale don't exist anymore, they made some pretty great modern adventure games.

Battlestar Galactica getting rebooted (again) for NBS's streaming service

Just because there is a car in Knightrider doesn't make it BattleCar Galacticar. I don't recall an episode of Knightrider where Gaius BalCar and Startruck have a race against the cylons to get to the garage at the end of the universe.

Battlestar Galactica getting rebooted (again) for NBS's streaming service

There's one simple change that could make another reboot worthwhile and potentially the best incarnation of them all: BattleCar Galactica. Vroom vroom.

    "Who" was the best Doctor?

Lol good spot. I guess it was late and I was confusing Matt Smith, Tom Baker and that bloke from The One Show. To be fair, maybe one day Matt Baker will prove to be the finest doctor of all.

    "Who" was the best Doctor?

Pertwee is my favourite, a mixture of nostalgia and the quality of the stories I guess. I used to get the tapes of the Pertwee shows out the library all the time as a kid (this was in the intervening years between the old series and the new). I don't understand how Matt Baker is further ahead...

Weird Test: Can We Guess Your Age Based on Your Star Trek Opinions?

I got 64 when I'm actually 28. I like how the question "Which 'Star Trek' food or beverage would you try if you could?" has Earl Grey tea as an option along with Gagh, Plomeek soup and Romulan ale. If only I could find my way to a supermarket, then maybe I could try this mystical beverage, but...

    Mystery Games

I LOVE Wadjet Eye, I get every release when I can, much like with Lucas Arts back in the day. If you haven't already you should pick up Disavowed, it's set in the same universe as the Blackwell's, cam out earlier this year.

    Mystery Games

I've already completed all the games suggested here. Maybe I should just stop being such a dork. I was on my way to being pretty drunk when I posted that, I was trying to find something for my partner to play, she's never been into video games in a big way, but has a handful of things she...

Do you guys have any recommendations for peculiar or creepy mystery games? Maybe something in the vein of Life is Strange, or an old-school point and click

How do you get up in the morning?

I'm not so much a night owl, although sometimes I end up staying up stupidly late to finish my reading for university, it's just that if I wake up before it's fully light then my brain doesn't kick into gear. It's really bad, I can't function properly at all, I'll forget what I'm doing while...

How do you get up in the morning?

I can't believe so many of you have to get up so early, I don't envy you at all. I hate waking up, it's like being born again every day and it takes me a good 90-120 minutes before my brain is completely conscious/functional. At the moment I work two part-time jobs and I'm studying a masters...

English subtitles for non-english TV shows

Does anyone have a good source for English subtitles for TV shows? More specifically I'm looking for subtitles for the Swedish show Solisidan. I can find subtitles for the occasional episode through google, but the sub tracks have all been terrible.

What NuTrek Got *Better* Than the Original?

I know I'm late to the party with this thread (better late than never huh guys ), but for me the discs of the NuTrek DVDs smell a lot nicer than the *classic* DVDs. Especially when they're fresh out my ps2.
