Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x10 - "Hegemony"

Gorn is a mix of ID4, Aliens, Jurassic Park, and Trek all rolled into one. Gorn with a space suit is hilarious! Spock zooming through space reminded me of Michael in Discovery. Great Scott! What a pleasant surprise. The actor's accent is pretty spot on too. Funny how Pelia knew him too...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x09 - "Subspace Rhapsody"

What an interesting episode, along with Lower decks, certainly among the most unique Star Trek episodes ever. As long they don't keep repeating the same type all the time, I like how they are pushing creative ways to tell a Start Trek story. Kinda like how TNG often uses the holodeck and have...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x08 - "Under the Cloak of War"

Now we know that green potion is called Protocol 12. Deltan parsley. That's from the world of the bald V'Ger gal in the Star Trek movie. Good episode analysis here:

Spoilers Strange New Worlds Episode 7 - Those Old Scientists

what a memorable episode. One of the most unique Star Trek episode ever. I never seen an episode of Lower Decks, but the actors match their anime characters physically. SNW is easily becoming one of my favorite Trek series.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x03 - "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow"

Nice tidy episode, but felt like a mini movie. Tie ins with Pelia, alternate Kirk, Khan. Chong is a great actor. I'm glad different episodes in the season gives more room for each character to develop more in depth. Has a feel of The Voyage Home. Toronto, Poutine, not something you hear on...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x02 - "Ad Astra Per Aspera"

"An affinity for Gilbert and Sullivan musicals." Yetide Badaki as Neera Ketoul was excellent. She's a fine actress. This episode has a bit of the Data trial episode "The Measure of a Man" feel to it.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x01 - "The Broken Circle"

Pluses: Spock and his Vulcan lute New Engineer Pelia character. Talks like a witch, with humor. New season 2 title theme. TNG style Klingons are back. La'An is still great in new role. "I would like the ship to go, now! " Non star fleet wardrobes on the planet. Tribute to Michelle at the end...

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x10 - "The Last Generation"

The cast makes the show. TOS, TNG, Voy, DS9, all had great ensemble. Enterprise, Discovery, not so much.

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x10 - "The Last Generation"

Watching First Contact again, this time in 4K, Enterprise E looked glorious. Thought Picard production value was pretty good. If they release a 4K box set, I will get it. Season 3 alone is worth rewatching.

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x10 - "The Last Generation"

What a send off! Much grander than All Good Things. The Star Wars Death Star plot isn't very orginal, but I can look past it, along with Enterprise flying above an interior that somehow is sustainable for organic life (force field?). Seven as a captain... A spine off show for the Entrerprise...

Maybe watch Everything Everywhere all at once to see a different perspective.

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x09 - "Võx"

Took them a while to find their legs so to speak. TNG wasn't great until 3-4 season. But this cast isn't doing a 4th. Just enjoy it while it lasts. I plan to re-watch the entire 3 seasons after the finale. Lately, because of this season, i have been watching the first and last episodes of TNG...

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x09 - "Võx"

Wow. What an episode. Jack carrying a borg bio tech was ok, i can accept it as part of the sci fi. Vox it is. Why no scenes of the Queen's face? RIP Admiral Shelby. Enterprise F! It felt more shocking to see the LaForge girls assimilated than realizing Jack was. You can see the pain on...

News Wednesday, April 19 - Star Trek: Picard Finale in IMAX

What a waste of time. That website totally sucks. Will watch it at home.

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x08 - "Surrender"

Too bad the series is almost finished. It will be a season to remember and rewatched in the future for sure. Data overcoming Lore was like letting Smeagle kill off Gollum. Was nice to see Spot again, Tasha etc. We know Tuvok will have another scene (the actor said he's in two episodes). I...

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x07 - "Dominion"

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x06 - "The Bounty"

Moriarty, Lal, B4, Geordi, Kirk's body, Tribbles, Voyager... And the Klingon bird of prey from The Voyage Home. Loved it when they played the Voyager theme when Seven was thinking about home. Brent Spiner played 4-5 characters. Just an amazing synthesis of all the best of Star Trek.

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x05 - "Imposters"

Eagle eye. Are they just different styles, or unique design to each person? That one she gave Picard was a spy device though, not the one she wore as an ensign.
