Nacelle pylons aside—surely a trivial thing to swap out, whether they start out straight or backswept, since we know from "The Apple" and "The Savage Curtain" that the nacelles themselves can be jettisoned and presumably replaced—it looks very much like what we got, to me. What else really...
That's a plausible possibility, but rather speculative, as it isn't specified in the story. We don't know what condition Vina's mind was in when they found her, merely that her body was "a lump of flesh." "If Memory Serves" (DSC) indicates that they are adept at gleaning information from a...
I see this raised so often, but it overlooks a central crux of the story with respect to the Talosians' practical deficits versus their illusory strengths. They quite obviously did know what humans, and specifically Vina, were supposed to look like; they recreated them perfectly...as illusions...
The more I think about it, I actually see little reason to think things would have played out much differently had Mariner not been there, except that Boimler would've likely had an even rougher time on the planet. Why should we believe K'orin wouldn't have simply drunk alone, brandished his d'k...
In addition to all of this, the other variations of uniform within the division were more clearly shades of green as well...

However, my understanding is that the standard duty uniforms were sort of silently retconned as gold by...
...and he wouldn't have promptly demanded ale there, just as he did at the conclusion? I see no reason to think not. I'm sure getting tanked is standard negotiation prep for a Klingon diplomat!

@Trekker4747 keeps repeating that "Mariner got K'orin drunk" as if she held him by his luxurious mane and forced that bloodwine down his (presumably) bifurcated gullet...I didn't see that happening. Klingons drink...it's a rather prominent aspect of their culture. Besides being amply evident...
Not really, since the design of the latter was a straight-up re-use of the former by Bob Kline...but I'd wager Aurelians, since they were likely Federation members, whereas the Skorr seemed more ancient and mysterious and stand-offish. Plus, "Yesteryear" (TAS) is probably a better-remembered...
Besides the Vendorian, Ariolo, etc., there were also a couple of Aurelians (or possibly Skorr)!

And the ones behind the Evora here look like they could be Arcturians:

According to Robert Wise's commentary track on the Director's Edition DVD, she was the navigator, with her death opening the door for Ilia to join the crew as her last-minute replacement, just as Sonak's freed up Spock's spot as science officer.

You're welcome! Plenty of other goodies to be found among those lots as well!
However, I do notice upon closer inspection that the exact version in the screenshot you linked to (reading "RELAY MESSAGE FLOW 1293"—featuring an extra entry at the bottom of the list that I'm pretty sure says "USS...
I'd really like to know if anyone has a copy of the TAS bible, which has been mentioned here before by @Therin of Andor:
I'd love to see that hand-drawn map! (I once contacted someone at Temple, hoping to get a glimpse. Unfortunately, the Paley Library has now permanently closed, and they...
It's definitely "my own yeoman..."
Not from the shooting script itself, but a preceding draft (with Captain Winter in place of Pike) revised 20 November 1964 (found here):
Also, from the DVD subtitles:
Chrissie generally does her transcripts on the fly by ear, and while her efforts surely...
Well, in "The Breach" (ENT), Phlox said they were "prodigious" breeders, not specifically fast.
Also, much may hinge on Edward's emphasis of "this particular species" in his comments here. Perhaps meaty-but-slow-to-multiply-and-easily-harmed Tribleustes ventricosus is a dying breed on Iota...
(Continued from above...)
(Apologies for the image-heavy posts. It's still scarcely an exhaustive exhibit—doesn't even cover the variation in Admirals' uniforms in early TNG, etc—but surely more than enough to make a point.)
