All the season 4 call backs to TOS didn't really work for me at all.
I liked TOS it just never loved it,It was always too dated and campy for me.
I viewed it in the same way as the adam west batman,As an amusing artefact rather than a great show.
So season four gets my vote
low level shuttle passes would have been far more efficient,They still have working tricorders when they're on the planet so i'm sure it would work a lot better than abandoning the ship for ..reasons
Old school term for "act cowardly". I always found it annoying that they almost never seemed to just fuck up some aliens.I suspected it was more budgetary than about the federation's peaceful ethos
As a kid it used to drive me crazy they'd mostly chicken out of a fight,I wonder how much was rodenberry's vision of finding a better ,peaceful way and how much was budget
They definitely abandoned the whole being "brand new to deep space" thing after the first season.I loved the crew simply not knowing about the dangers of new planets, aliens and space travel.
I heard a rumour the producers hated the hell out of him and he even turned up very late one day for Monday morning filming.I don't know if his tardiness was the result of how he was treated or if he was treated that way because of his attitude
My knowledge of voyager is a little sketchy as I fucking hated it and dropped out after a while. It's nice to know they finally committed to the warp speed shuttle thing
That seems logical .There has to be at least some internal space for sensors ,phasers and the impulse engines even if it's just a shit on of power couplings
