I've now fixed it to work with the new XenForo!
Goodreads support, also the data source for the publication dates column, is currently disabled due to an unrelated problem with MS Azure outside my control. I'll re-visit this in the coming days and bring it back as well.
I've added a search-filter field (five, even!), so if you've ever wanted to only see Articles of the Federation in the listing, you now can make this happen.
Thanks! :-)
I will make some further improvements in the coming days. I think it's about time to add a little search/filter field, and I'll also make it a little more ergonomic on smartphones, tricorders and PADDs.
Maybe that long-overdue sequel ... throw some money at KRAD already, powers...
Being a Star Trek fan lasts a lifetime! :-)
But I agree - it's pretty crazy this review lister has been running for 11 years already next month. I've moved continents twice, gotten married and had a kid and many other adventures in that time span. Quite enough to fill a novel that I can happily...
Hey folks, it's that time of the decade again when I notice this little webapp of mine still exists and runs, but is somewhat broken now. I'll give it a go today to fix things again.
Edit: Looks like it's not my fault -- Goodreads shut down their API! I'll code around it though ...
Hey! I just remembered I made this. :-)
It does look like it has some problems and needs an update these days. I'll give it some love during my Christmas vacation and make it work again.
Hi guys. It's been forever since I've checked back - is everything still going smoothly with the review lister, or do you have any need? I may have some time for some maintenance in March.
Correct, I still have to find the XenForo equivalent links for these: https://www.eikehein.com/repositories/?p=trekbbs-pollranking.git;a=blob;f=blacklist.txt;h=de1dac8007324a1688f4e1e26a9338eb44b64941;hb=HEAD
If anyone wants to work those out that'd be awesome.
I guess the long-awaited forum software switch happened, and my little site is completely broken for now. It won't be too hard to fix and I'll try to work on it soon, I'm currently massively swamped with work and the process of relocating to Seoul though, so I don't know when yet. I apologize...
Defcon, can you post the review threads for August (Atonement and The Returned, Part 2) when it's time? :) I'll be away travelling in South Korea at the time and would probably forget.
It's been six months since the last DS9 novel; Una McCormack's The Missing was released on December 30th last year. David R. George III, no stranger to the series, has picked up the baton again, and Sacraments of Fire will continue to story on June 30th.
Blurb:
I'm reading Murakami's 1Q84. It's my first book by the author. So far I'm rather enjoying the very deliberate pacing and descriptions, it's good for unwinding/relaxing these days.
