So I just watched Equinox parts 1 and 2 and would have to say that it's a prime example of the inconsistent writing on Voyager. Janeway acts completely out of character - risking the life of Noah Lessing, becoming obsessed with catching Ransom, offering to hand Equinox over to the aliens... And...

In my opinion, they really should have gone with a 'through line' following the events of First Contact. The way TWOK leads to TSFS and that leads to TVH. (I know that wasn't the original intention) Insurrection could have dealt with the follow on from FC some how... Data going rogue as a result...

I'm a fan of the film. I will admit that at the time of release it felt like a bit of a letdown after FC - it's really grown on me over the years. There is a lot to like in this film... • Great score • Some great visual effects (the shuttle chase specifically) • The Geordi sunset scene...
