Dumping on Wesley is a thing. Most of us have done it. The character is mocked and laughed at, some people actually directed their dislike of the character at Wil Wheaton... which is daft of course... but I've actually changed my mind.
I'm doing a rewatch of TNG now, although it's the first...
I've watched Voyager more than a few times since it came along. I've always enjoyed it, some times loved it and some times just groaned and I'll now skip more than episodes here and there but this is the first time it's actually tugged at the old heart strings.
My wife has always enjoyed Trek...
I was a bit surprised there was no thread for this show so I did a quick search and found nothing so... Are there any fans of the show kicking around here or am I it?
For those interested, we've published the second part of our interview with Duncan Lunan. It's a highly detailed, in-depth interview that saw us publish two versions, abridged in our ezine and unabridged on the site proper.
Hope you enjoy it. :)

We publish, or rather try to, a quarterly ezine. Unfortunately we're ridiculously late with our summer issue because... well, our artist is no longer our artist.
Anyhow... I'm no graphic designer. I can add text to an image for a title page (but then who can't?) and handle some very basic...
Figured I'd start the thread since I didn't see one already and the pre-season started last night... with a 4-2 win by the Leafs over Ottawa.
Heh. 2 goals and an assist for Bozak. Wonder if the kid will have the type of season this year everyone wanted him to have last year. With Connolly being...
We were in Costco this past weekend and they had two seasons of Enterprise sitting there, S2 and S4, for $29 each. We only picked up one, the obvious choice of the two... yeah, S4.
I didn't think she'd be that interested, not being a sci-fi fan. She's grudgingly given TOS a chance and has...
I know some of you are familiar with Duncan Lunan. We just did an interview with him that went up yesterday and one of the things he mentions is how he came close to writing for DW during the Pertwee era.

Mods, hope you'll forgive my...
In the notes on Memory Alpha's write up for "Yesterday's Enterprise" is this quote from Jonathon Frakes:
"To this day I do not understand 'Yesterday's Enterprise'. I do not know what the fuck happened in that episode. I'm still trying to understand it – but I liked the look."
It's...
I know that wikis are often inaccurate but I just had a good laugh at the entry for Matt Decker on Memory Alpha. Whoever edited the article referred to the planet killer as a "creature" and that it "died" when Kirk took the Constellation down it's maw.

From a report I just watched on the BBC site, it seems that the film is almost completely restored, including 25 minutes that had been missing for some time. A DVD release is supposed to be coming towards the end of the year.
I can't wait to get my hands on this and was just wondering how many...
Hey folks,
Just wanted to let you know that Issue 18 of Whotopia is now online.
http://www.whotopia.ca/
The issue is dedicated almost entirely to UNIT content and also features an interview with John Levene (Sgt Benton). I also highly recommend the article UNIT: A Knife at the Gunfight...
I've dabbled in webcomics before and plan to do a few more so... here are some teasers for the stories I'm working on.

And wamdue, in looking back through old comment threads, I noticed you really liked the Sixth Doctor story and...
Kinda surprised no-one has mentioned these but the Third Doctor sets have been in NA for a couple weeks now. There are two here (and a third on the way) so I figured I'd post a few pics.
I know some of you must have them by now and The, please don't tell me you had to get them from the UK...
I know a handful of you here collect the DW figures. A while back I mentioned I was making a classic Tardis set and was asked to post some pics. Well, I finally finished it. :)
How many others here are getting them?
I must confess that I do feel like a kid again. I'm more excited about these than I was the first wave of classics (which I didn't collect all of) or last year's SDCC exclusives. The Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Doctors, the alt Ninth and Time Crash twinpack...
I always order from Amazon. For most four-part classic episodes, it was $20. So, I'd order two for $40 and get the free shipping.
Now... they're $15 so I get three for $45.
I love it. Even if my bank account is likely going to start hating it.
I'm assuming all retailers have reduced the price...
Since becoming more of a collector than I'd ever intended, I've had some great shopping experiences and some lousy ones.
So, I put together a review of some of the stores that I hope some of you will find useful.

Cheers!
For your enjoyment (at least I hope you enjoy it)...

It's a new Doctor Who webcomic we just finished. This one probably should have been up for April Fool's...
Hope you get a laugh or two.

Happy Halloween!
We've put together a special issue of our ezine which has a Halloween DW webcomic featuring the Sixth Doctor.
There's also a great short story from another contributor.
Please have a look and I hope you enjoy...
