John Harrison was more interesting than (SPOILER)

I liked the "twist"...it gave him a background the audience could automatically relate to and played on his previous story. I wouldn't change it at all.

    Why did they bother...

Oh god, I laughed so hard at the one where Kirk "changed bodies" with a woman. It was so horrible.

THE HOBBIT (2012/2013): News, Rumors, Pics Till Release

Just thought I'd add my thoughts- I was shocked and thrilled that we got to see a glimpse of Smaug at the end. Can't wait to hear him!

Game of Thrones 3.9 - "The Rains of Castamere" - Rate and discuss

I have to hand it to them...that was horrific no matter if you read the books or not. Talisa...wow, I didn't see that coming. The silent ending just leaves you shattered. ...but now I cannot WAIT for the next season, mwa ha ha ha ha.

    Female Doctor Poll!

I felt completely the opposite about Adler. She was awesome and that was the best episode of the show so far.

    Matt Smith's Departure Confirmed.

The Doctor IS insufferably smug anyway, male or female. Not sure how a smug woman is worse than a smug man.

    Matt Smith's Departure Confirmed.

It's not about offending people, it's about creating new stories to keep the show fresh. Anyway, it's pretty difficult to complain or judge something that may not even happen this time anyway. It's the same thing people have been complaining about and worrying about for years, and no matter...

Roger Moore wants to do Who!!

    No.

Matt Smith confirmed for series 8

I prefer Moffat's stories myself. "Blink" was my favorite episode of the Tennant era. I just felt that Moffat's Doctor is always building up to something, which gets me through the more mundane episodes. I never really felt that way with most of Tennant- we just have lots of people to deal...

    Matt Smith's Departure Confirmed.

You're taking this way too seriously. It's a tv show, not the next door neighbors. People get away with all sorts of things on tv that they don't get away with in real life. People should be smart enough to know that they shouldn't emulate what they see on tv. I'm not going to start blaming...

    Matt Smith's Departure Confirmed.

River isn't "feminism", she's a "psychopath". There IS a big difference. She does what she wants, when she wants, and she doesn't recognize any authority, even the Doctor's. And no, the Doctor and his companions aren't going to have "healthy" relationships. He's a madman with a box. He...

    Matt Smith's Departure Confirmed.

Of course, I'm sure the fact that the Doctor doesn't want to hang around weak, clingy women has nothing to do with it. Anytime a woman doesn't take crap from a man people start claiming that she's a bitch. If she has an emotion, she's weak. So that means women can't get mad or cry, because...

    Doctor Who accused of racism

^This x 1000. It's not racism to cast a white guy. Just as it isn't affirmative action to cast someone who is a different race or gender. Can we just get over ourselves already and stop throwing out the racist card? They'll cast whomever they think will fit their storyline the best (or...

    Matt Smith's Departure Confirmed.

At the risk of sounding sexist (which I am not in any way), I'd rather see a male doctor than a female, just for preference. Also, Doctor Who will always have the best episode title ever: "Let's Kill Hitler"

Matt Smith is leaving "Doctor Who"

It's been announced that Matt Smith will be leaving Doctor Who during this year's Christmas Special. I will say that I'm sad to see him go, as he was my favorite Doctor, but I am also excited to see who the next doctor will be (and if he/she will be ginger or not). Thoughts?

    Which Kirk is more badass?

Shatner had 3 series and a bunch of movies to solidify his personality. Pine has had 2 movies. Not a fair vote. Shatner's Kirk was written as a cowboy in wild, wild space. He could always get the girl and every plan he had worked. He had no dimension at all until there were a couple of...

    The Heart of Into Darkness

I noticed a lot of characters interrupting or talking over each other in natural situations in these movies. I agree it didn't happen in any of the series or movies very often before, but it seemed completely normal to me here. The grammar was fine, I didn't think it sounded any differently...

    Durability (spoilers)

His bone density could be (must be) much stronger, otherwise he would have broken his legs when he jumped 30 meters.

    (Spoiler) Left Me Cold

You're probably thinking of Marcus instead of Khan.
