Durability (spoilers)

How good would a Soong-type punch if a Soong-type could punch good?
He would punch, he would, as much as he should,
and knock him out where he stood like a Soong-type would,
unless that Soong-type was not good.

I hope that clears things up. ;)

If Spock can beat Khan in a fight, then Data surely could, since Data is probably the strongest regular Trek character ever.

Spock couldn't one on one. He was about to lose until Uhura dazed Khan with the stun blasts.

Data would still win though.

Data could defeat anybody, outsmart anybody, was faster/stronger/more resilient than anybody.
Why did they need anyone else on board?

What if Khan's skull is stronger than a normal human skull?

I don't think it is. Khan's bone structure is probably the same as any of us. He is, after all, still a human being.

If an Augment's bones were that much stronger, it wouldn't be so easy to kill one by having a piece of bulkhead fall on them, like with Joachim on the Reliant bridge.

His bone density could be (must be) much stronger, otherwise he would have broken his legs when he jumped 30 meters.

Speaking of durability, in two consecutive movies, the bridge of the Enterprise literally cracks (nearly in half). First on the ceiling, then on the floor. They should get that looked at.

... And the cracked 'windshield' in ST'09? It may be time for them to consider moving the bridge to a spot deeper within the primary hull (saucer section?)(Primary Nacelle?) where it would be better protected! Those cracks bothered me, too!

In TOS, Khan claimed to have five times Kirk's strength. Data had ten times human strength.

I think Spock had five times normal too--so he and Khan were evenly matched. I seem to remember David Gautreaux saying that he liked the idea of stength without size when he was to play Xon--during an interview.
