I'd suggest checking out the sketchup wharehouse you will find a lot of trek models some excellent efforts others need some work.

Thank you StarCruiser those were the dimensions that I was looking for. Using Alan Sinclairs cad geometry and those numbers I should get a really good representation.

I was looking for outside dims so I can create a 3d model in the cad software that I have I did one using Alan Sinclairs Tos model geometry for the production model.

Has any one worked out the over all dia and heights for the Pilot Bridge? I've seen some Magan and Shaw work but have not seen anything regarding the final height or Dia of the Bridge? At least nothing that I can remember.

Hi Jayru speaking for my self. The trek universe that I imagine is more about FJ's ship designations, followed by my few years of playing Starfleet Battles and how they designate ships. I also enjoyed all the FASA Roleplaying material never played the game but enjoyed the technical manuals...

Very nice slots in with my idea of what a frigate/Corvette escort would look like.

Don't change anything it can be hiding behind a panel that matches the deflector pattern. Somewhat like the exit port that Kirk uses to contact V-Ger.

With tractor beam tech you don't need a super high ceiling for a shuttle bay. Rather than a full size shuttle destroyers could have a few shuttle pods to have some sort of back up to a transporter being down.
