While it wasn't quite as... exciting as I hoped for (and maybe that's mostly because it's hard to top Star Trek, the finale was a fairly good one IMO. It wasn't really a cliffhanger/suspenseful ending, sure, but it has to potentially serve as a series finale, so they had to wrap up a lot.

Pretty much the same situation for me. One of my first Trek novels, which I remember liking a lot (also a Romulan fan), but I also don't remember anything specific -- something about a huge warbird. I have been toying with the idea of rereading it as I recently got a copy for my collection.

I think in one of the other threads someone mentioned it sounding like a Vulcan/Bajoran hybrid and KRAD responded something like "he he he" or an equally suggestive non-answer. To me, the Sonek definitely sounds Vulcan, not sure about Pran
