I used to dislike the film vehemently but after I watched the red letter media video discussing it, I rewatched it and the lightbulb came on and I finally understood the movie for what it was and like it now.

I listened to "Sarek" narrated by Mark Lenard recently. It was really good and a nice post TUC story.

My favorite TOS cue is "Kirk's command." (The first 40 seconds of this video.) It's such a strong cue. It always conveys a sense of awe and wonder but also the feeling that some serious stuff is going to go down. I would have loved to have heard it rearranged in the TOS films.

I hate the transporter effects from Star Trek II through VI. It's so boringly simple and the sound effects for it are loud and annoying. I much prefer the transporter effect from TMP. It was the best transporter effect of the entire franchise.

I absolutely adore The Orville. It's my new favorite show right now.

My mom rented it for me once like 10 years ago. I remember being bored the whole way through.

Looks too busy and overly designed for my tastes. Even Discovery's "Engineering" section was better designed.

If Alexander Siddig and Nana Visitor could still work on DS9 with their relationship issues, Palicki and Grimes can too.

Hey you can't have that TOS Romulan ship! This is 2019 and audiences won't accept dated designs made in the 60's!!!!! :brickwall: /Sarcasm. It looks freaking awesome! I wish Discovery took that approach to their 23rd century ships.

I do like the Discoprise for the most part but I'm not a fan of the pylons or it's rather wider appearance. I don't really like the impulse engines either. Too bulky for my liking. Other than that, It's not too bad.

I got 64. But I just turned 28...:guffaw: But I was immediately captivated by TOS though when I first discovered at the age of 16. I absolutely adore it.
