4Kids never dubbed Dragon Ball Z.
The first Western English dub was produced by Funimation partnered with Saban Entertainment who hired Ocean Productions in Canada to do the Dubbing. That lasted for about 50 episodes (edited down from 67).
The Saban/Ocean Dub is also where most of the early...
I didn't know the man personally and neither did you. There are various versions of the friction between him and McFadden out there. She has never made a direct accusation and he has never been charged with anything.
Since we have no idea what really happened behind closed doors, I prefer to...
Part 5
“Daria Morgendorffer, please report to the principal’s office,” Ms. Li announced straight after Homeroom.
Daria sighed. She knew that was going to happen.
“How are you feeling?” Ms. Li asked when Daria had sat down.
“My best friend has been kidnapped! How do you think I’m feeling?”...
If they bring back the original cast and creator, maybe. The show is an inverse of a reboot in a way - the main characters (a balancing act of archetypes) are the single grounding factor in new Earths that can be wildly different. Seasons 1 and 2 did excel, and some of 4 and 5 hold up well and...
They weren't streaming shows, for one thing. And Stargate SG-1 actually had only five seasons on Showtime and five on Syfy. Five seasons was generally a maximum run for basic-cable shows -- no Sci-Fi Channel/Syfy show ever had more than five seasons on the network itself -- so SG-1 kind of got a...
SNW season 3 seemed on-par with 1 and 2, quality-wise to me. S31 was rubbish, but it's far from the franchise's worst year. That's probably when it was cancelled for the second time.
Speculation on my part, but I think the partial reason for the clip is the negative reaction to the trailer/s so far. Though time will tell, will be interesting to see how the Nielson ratings track. If I were to guess it will have a strong openeing probably #7 and by episode 3 it will have fall...
With some shared universes, I'd be inclined to agree (e.g. I feel Star Trek: Lower Decks went too far into implausible absurdity at times). But the MCU is just replicating what the comics have always done, lumping together wildly disparate genres and tones into a shared reality. I can't fault it...
Largely due to DEADPOOL, perhaps. John Byrne's SHE-HULK seemed to me a pioneer. It beat her Stan Lee debut, most of her initial issues and her AVENGERS stint following the cancellation of her first '80s book.
+1 for me, these are fun reads!
It's a little sledgehammery, but it feels like a story TOS wouldn't be able to do. The cast are strong and even Wesley isn't a stick figure saving the ship. A solid, if not narrow and basic outing since kidnapping 7 children isn't going to resolve their...
How would you feel if they did a reboot of the show?
I'd feel very cautious about this one having seen what happened to the Quantum Leap reboot. I really thought they had a good thing there but then it got cancelled due to ratings or whatever the reason was, I think it was declining ratings...
Okay wrapping up season 1:
Heart of Glory:
Excellent! A fantastic look at Worf and how he feels about his place among humans when meeting Klingons for the first time. The great Vaughn Armstrong dons the makeup for the first time and makes an excellent impression. Michael Dorn runs with this...

The camera focuses on a pendant as its wearer, secretary Peggy Callahan (Jennifer Darling's second appearance in the role established last season), talks to her mom on the phone about...
Part 4
Linda had felt Sandi’s search for Jane and thus knew what had happened when she opened the door to find Daria holding up her daughter.
“I know about her powers, Mrs. Griffin. I promised to keep them secret.”
Linda took Sandi into her arms. “You know everything, I suppose?”
“Not...
...this is any indication of things to come, I'm not sure I can stick around. Sci-fi is dead now. Star Trek is finished with Enterprise's cancellation. Star Wars is done with the release of Revenge of the Sith. Serenity didn't light the box office on fire, meaning the Firefly verse is probably...
Clearly the way to do it is to devote one episode per gunslinger and they only join forces as a full team in the final 30 seconds of the season finale, teasing the next season which never comes because the show gets canceled.
