I also wrote an addition to how the Romulans actually joined the UFP and Klingons in their war against the Dominion in the AU.
This is supposed to be slotted in just before Dark Frontier Ending (but obviously in S4 - after AI forge was sent and analysed) - but since I would have to redo all the...
That's not what wins awards and ratings, if they actually did that it would completely destroy the series. You seem to be talking about going for a nostalgia audience, but that's not how you get them, you still need to be able to be taken serious as a modern production. With nostalgia it tends...
...This thread is designed as a review/discussion thread for the series as a whole. The poll is set up so that the ratings will be available on the TrekLit Review Thread page, so it can be compared as a whole to other Star Trek books and audios.
Please note there will be spoilers for the...
...4 than a year one. I do not feel Paul can carry the show.
Also when I said star trek 2009 was the best content you can also back it up by ratings and critical reception. in 2000s star trek by RT IMDB Reception and audience ratings is ranked the highest of the trek in 2009.
The Kelvin films...
Warp 9.9 = 4 billion miles per second which equates to about 21,473x c (from VOY, the 37's).
Warp 9 = 1,500 c.
Warp 8 = 1,000 c.
Incidentally, VOY displayed (on-screen) that it can only sustain 9.75 for 12 hrs (in episode 'The Swarm').
And since ENT-D was rated at about 9.6 being its 12hr...
...I don't want to go back to that era. While I personally don't mind the dated special effects and production style, it's not going to get high ratings and win awards today. Nostalgia does sell to a certain extent, but those old fans aren't going to be around forever. There's probably quite a...
to get high ratings again and record breaking award nominations at the uk tv awards plus to get all of the pure old school doctor who superfans happy again
Section 31 wasn't bad. The first movie sets up a whole bunch of interesting back stories. A whole bunch.
3 out of 5 stars...because you never know the true rating of the series until the curtains goes up.
well if one piece does keep getting renewed in order to catch up with the 1999s to present anime verison then netflix might have to keep recasting every 20 to 30 years in order to keep the characters the same age
like the simpsons for example its been on since 1989 and the characters stayed the...
A bit of a 23rd Century anachronism?
Somewhat Fireflyish...
Nice wrap!
It looks like you repeated two sections at the beginning of yesterday's update.
Thanks!! rbs
No, I'm referring to the dependence on specific actors to save the show. It's a form of stunt casting really. It might give a short-term ratings boost but it doesn't help a show long term.
I saw speculation that that's why they might be trying to get around Hasbro with a rebrand, so they can release the shows internationally.
I wouldn't mind if they reoriented it to be older-skewing, about the same age range as Kamen Rider. Though not much older, because the "adult" series in...

That's what people are wondering
Same formula but different name which doesn't help anything for ratings and revenue if they're just calling it something else
Ratings are down. Toy sales are semi okay. TegaSword sells well but they're still not where...

They're supposed to do another one next season.
It does serve as a sort of torch-passing as Isis will have more new episodes.
I dunno, but clearly 1970s tape recorders didn't have Airplane Mode.
Looked up.
Since they're driving around Southern California, maybe the misfortune that...
