No it should not be that way. Doctors are meant to do more medicine than a nurse. To be fair I think it is just a way the show ends up writing poor and bad female characters.
They think if they make a female character who knows better than everybody and can do jobs that is clearly beyond their...
Yup.
You are a) missing the joke and b) perhaps do not have any friends or family in medicine. A nurse doing more medicine than a doctor is not surprising.
You want to make a nurse laugh? Show him or her House where all the doctors run all of their own tests.
Is star trek about science fiction or romance? when you think of star trek what comes to your mind first.
Mins is very simple. In my mind I think of
Science fiction as a strong back ground to the entire series
time travel
wormholes
alternate realities
action and adventure
diplomatic issues...
I dunno if this "apparently" is meant to be a joke, but that's not true.
What is true is one of the co-showrunners. (Henry Alonso Myers) was co-showrunner on the SyFy show The Magicians. Honestly, if you watch the show, you'll see a lot of the DNA of SNW, including:
A lot of focus on...
...for been a player with the ladies.
Spock in snw is now the male version of carrie Bradshaw from sex and the city.very immature needy and a joke.
Also why does chapel do more medince than the actual doctor
Also ridiculous that Spock pinned so much for her when in TOS he could care less if...
Well, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds doesn't come up in the episode. (It does get alluded to in my novel, however. And until you've heard pianist John Bayless playing his "in the style of Bach" arrangement, you haven't really heard Lucy. Just like if you haven't heard Procol Harum's A Whiter...
...other than the 2 that have been talked about to death for the last 30 years) than seeing this again. The way they handled this thing was a joke, and the final product turned into more of an advertising for the cruise, Garratt Wang's zero G adventures, and a promotion for the show for new...
I'll vote for "The Pirates of Ori-on," because it set up the Lower Decks Orion culture with some great jokes.
"MUDD'S PASSION" - 2
"THE PIRATES OF ORION" - 1
Either way, the substance called dilithium in Star Trek is has properties that make it unreal and differentiate it from the real substance.
Memory Alpha exists to archive officially produced Star Trek content in a neutral and objective way, as an encyclopedia would. They don't debate what was...
...compound.)
Yes, a barely legible screen graphic in TNG: "Rascals" put dilithium on the periodic table, but that graphic was full of joke names like "Stoogeium," "Groucho," and "Exitstageleft," so it was never meant to be taken remotely literally, and Memory Alpha's choice to treat it as a...
...know that was possible! What's your memory capacity? How many operations per second? I have a million questions."
Data: "I'm afraid I have no time to answer a million questions."
I cringe at cutesy jokes like this. In this case, I think it's because they're trying too hard to make Data...
Can you (or someone else) give me a timecode for this? I must have missed it because I skimmed the video before and I'm not I the mood to watch all of it for this one moment.
Thing is, this is quite old news. I first became aware of this about fifteen years ago in regards to BSG's spinoff Caprica, which did have a higher budget than BSG itself because Caprica featured a lot more location shooting than BSG, which was with rare exceptions almost exclusively filmed...
