PICTURE POST II!

I love Squiggy's username. Because I love Laverne and Shirley.

Lenny & Squiggy!!! And Michael McKean being all sexy looking back in the day. The only reason I love "The Thaw".

When our Squiggy bursts through a door and says "hello" he always does so naked butt-first.

I'm friends with David L. Lander on Facebook btw! If you're a Squiggy fan, you might appreciate that! :) If not, you'll just have no clue who I'm going on about haha.

We had two small point-and-shoot digital cameras in the house and they both died at the same time. Colour me unimpressed, but now I have an excuse to invest in a much better camera. I enjoyed photography some 20-25 years ago and was reasonably good with a mostly manual film camera, and would like to improve my digital photography skills. Any camera suggestions from you talented people?

My aunt went to England for the wedding of her daughter, my cousin. She's an American who married an English guy. Very happy for her, wish I could have went to the wedding. While in England, my aunt got some pictures of the house my Grandmother grew up on. This is County Cottage, on Longleat Estate. Which if you don't know, is the castle of Lord Bath. My Great, Grandparents lived there and worked for Lord Bath. I have these small little pictures of the place, the last time I was in England the places was in pretty rough shape. It looks like they fixed it up nicely.

My Great Aunt Jean in front of County Cottage, she's my Grandmothers sister. The only one that stayed in England. My Grandmother and her other sister both married Americans during the war and moved to the USA.

A nice shot of the front of the Cottage.

I'm a big fan of the Canon Rebel line as a starter SLR.
I use a Nikon but agree with Savage Dragon, Canon is good to start you out. I had a bit of Nikor glass going in to it so I stuck with it, Canon is more cost effective and just as good. I recommend going with Canon Rebel.

This is a statue outside Globe Life Park in Texas. It's to commemorate a fan who died after falling off a railing (his son was also there and saw the whole thing).

Took this yesterday as we were coming in to land. My oldest said "Cool, but why were you sitting in the back of the plane?"

Well, it turns out that having a camera on me all the time is making me take more pictures (who would have thought that???)

Fountain of Neptune, Bologna. One of the main symbols of the city.

Well at the city hall second garden/courtyard. I work nearby and I often go there during lunch break if the weather is nice.

I have more, will post them later.

Beautiful shots, Camera Phone or Camera Camera?

Italy is beautiful no matter which part of the Old Country you're taking photographs in. Thanks for those, iguana!

Thanks. Camera phone. I recently upgraded to a new smartphone and I'm quite happy with it (previous one was all kinds of crappy).

Having a semi-decent camera in my pocket at all times is really a game changer, and I'm taking lots of pictures. Most are still crap, but I manage to get a snapshot I like here and there.
