Why did you think he blew up every suit he had?
but that doesn't mean the scene wasn't important to have in Iron Man 3.
And, again, you're interpreting the final scene of Iron Man 3 incorrectly.I'm not mad . I'm annoyed that they tacked that ending onto the end of one movie after the entire rest of the film had not been leading to that, and then undid it in the next movie.

And then there's this.As for Tony really calling it quits...I don't think Pierce would've asked Fury for a visit from Iron Man ("...and I don't mean just a fly-by. He's gotta mingle.") if the "Clean House" protocol's enactment truly meant the end of wearing the suit(s).
Yup.The robotic sidekicks are U and DUM-E. No?
but that doesn't mean the scene wasn't important to have in Iron Man 3.
True. That scene already wasn't important to have in Iron Man 3, as nothing in that entire film was in any way leading to it until the last 45 seconds or so.
Speaking for myself, I never got the impression from Iron Man 3 that Tony was giving up the suits forever.

I just wondered if Liv Tyler or William Hurt had ever spoken or being asked in interviews if they'd ever be willing to reprise their roles as Betty Ross & General Ross somewhere down the line? Or even Tim Roth for that matter.
If Ultron is an artificial intelligence and the MCU tries to be somewhat like real life, then what's to stop Ultron from backing himself up dozens of times and thus be unbeatable? Or am I missing something?
