Based on that new series premise...

I can only assume that Nick Fury dies-dies in the ending of Original Sin and Bucky replaces him as "the man on the wall" who lives in seclusion and defends the Earth from bizarre threats.

    Trying to get a count...

From August 1st of last year to the end of this month: how many Helicarriers has SHIELD-616 either lost in action, had crash to the ground/water, or otherwise had come to grief in some way?

So we're getting a new female Thor. This Eight Months Later thing is shaping up to be really interesting.

    Let the stupid bitching commence.

An interesting if unexpected announcement. I'm interested in seeing how Jason Aaron pulls this off as I assume this will be set up in the final issues of "Thor: God of Thunder" (which I've been enjoying very much since it started).

sad to see Hawkeye end, but the writing was on the wall. especially with Fraction seemingly moving away from Marvel.

In my minds eye I can see Leifeld redesigning Kate Bishops Hawkeye costume into something super sexy and super revealing... Would Madonna feel compelled to sue if Kate wore a set of arrowhead boob cones?

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

I haven't read Thor since Fraction's run, which I thought was a whole lotta decompressed meh. I'll pick up the first issue of this, though.

I'm curious who the new Thor is. When I first heard about this, which was not today, I thought it was Angela, since Original Sin is revealing that Angela is Thor's sister. But since Thor is not a redhead like Angela, then it's probably someone else. Possibly a new character entirely, even. Maybe it's Tarene. It could even be Amora. I've seen others speculate that it's one of Thor's granddaughters.

For the fanboys who say that, no, Thor is a name and not a title, I'd point out that we've seen others lift the hammer and become granted with the powers that come with the hammer, like Beta Ray Bill, Eric Masterson, and Wonder Woman. If the new wielder of Mjolnir wants to call herself Thor when she's enchanted with the hammer's magic, I'm fine with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Roz Solomon, who Aaron created as a love interest/sidekick for Thor in "Thor: God of Thunder". It's possible it could be one of his three great-great-great grandchildren from the future.

Sigh, all good things must come to an end. At least we'll have 22 issues of amazing Hawkeye comics. That's more than many series ever get. I have confidence in Fraction's ability to bring this all to a satisfying close.

With Thunderbolts ending and the Omega Hulk storyline in HULK (Which some have noted sounds a bit similar in concept to the Iron Man armor wars), I wonder if this'll be the end of the Red Hulk (Who I think only really worked when Parker was writing him).

And judging by solicitations it looks like Fantastic Four is bringing back the Mrs.Marvel "She-Thing" who has been in character limbo for a long time.

    Not everyone reads the solicitations.

Although does this mean that Kamala and Sharon have to Thunderdome for the name?

Looking at Kamala's powerset, she really should approach Reed Richards for a tutorial or two... Although considering how valuable his time is, she'll probably wind up being fobbed off to Flatman.

Didn't realize Thunderbolts was ending. Was Blaze/GR meant to bring in new interest/readers and that failed then I take it?
