Favorite DC & Marvel Character?

I meant that you left before it got good again where upon it would have been impossible to exit gracefully.

:)

Kidding?

We all love things differently for different reasons.

It's hard to pick just one for both. Still, for DC, my favorite is the original Captain Marvel. Not the generic troubled teen "Shazam" of the New 52, but the real Big Red Cheese. For Marvel, She-Hulk is my favorite.

Marvel: Fantastic Four, until the movies and Joe Quesada ruined them.

DC: Green Lantern, until Geoff Johns ruined it with the Rainbow Ring Coalition.

Here's where I'll respectfully disagree. The rainbow lanterns for me were a breath of fresh air into a series that had been struggling. There were a. Host of interesting new characters, and fun stories that resulted.

I agree. I REALLY like the different lantern corps. It brought some cool stuff to the GL books.

What ruined the Green Lantern books was making the "emotional spectrum" a finite resource, and basically doing a version of TNG's "Warp 5 limit" plot point with the Green Lantern books. That said, that happened after Johns left the book (from what I remember, it was fairly recent but I've tried to block memories of post-Johns GL from my mind).

Chalk up another thumbs up for the rainbow Lanterns. That was probably one of the best new concepts introduced to a long-running series in a decade.

DC: Superboy (Conner Kent) - He's the character that got me into comics during the Reign of the Supermen story

Marvel: Either Iron Man or Cyclops, love them both

DC : Superman & Batman
Marvel : Wolverine & Ironman

BTW, Happy 4th of July
