MajorBarcalow was before my time, so I clicked the link so I would know what everyone was talking about. After reading some threads, I noticed this:And for those who don't know the pure comic genius of MajorBarcalow? Here it is.
I'm of the mind that forums will remain a strong refuge for people who like more involved, complicated discussions. Fewer people are using them, but most of those who are gone, you wouldn't really want around anyway. Let them have their twitters and Facebooks. I'm good with forums.![]()
Any time da Woim warned anyone / told anyone off. There was one rather...err...memorable (for all the wrong reasons) thread where he smacked down a number of posters; said smackdown was a thing of TBBS beauty. He had such a way with words.

I'm always surprised/slightly envious of those who can post for many years and then just stop. I can be fine without the board, but as soon as boredom strikes me I'm off to TBBS again. I can't imagine ever giving this place up permanently. I think this site will have to leave me before I leave it.
Which by the way, happened to me last night with another site. I had been a member there for 15 years, hadn't logged in for a while, so I tried to go back and it's dead.I almost cried.
