Star Wars: Episode VII: The Nerd Rage Awakens

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

JJ's just crippled Harrison Ford. He's crushed his ankle !

Let the hate begin...

;)

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

And just when it seemed like Ford was starting to warm up to SW again. Lol

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

I just realized it will be funny watching Han Solo call a sixty-year old Luke Skywalker, "kid".

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

UK papers over-reacting a bit... crushed in Star Wars set horror, according to two front pages.

Still it sounds like it could have been a lot worse.

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

Hokey muscles and ancient bones are no match for a container of Tiger Balm at your side, kid.

Let me guess. The Sun and the Mirror? I can't see any non-tabloid putting *that* of all things on the front page given what else is going on in the world today.

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

So according to BBC news a garage door fell and broke his ankle.

F**king stupid garage door. It destroyed my adulthood!

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

I guess this will be similar to when he was injured during the filming of Temple of Doom in 1983 when he wrenched his back riding that elephant and needed surgery. He's not the main star of Episode VII so they can film plenty of stuff while he recovers, but this will probably delay the completion of the film a few months.

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

It's not like Han Solo is a physically demanding role like Indiana Jones. Han mainly just shoots people.

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

I guess they could film cockpit scenes, but anything showing him on his feet will have to wait.

They could write his ankle fracture into the script too. Stockard Channing, playing Abagail Bartlet on the West Wing in real life injured her foot while hiking - they wrote the accident into the script on the West Wing, having the First Lady have a skiing accident.

Why didn't Joker Jester Abrams personally check the garage door himself to make sure it was safe and wouldn't hurt anyone before even letting The Harrison Ford get a look at the thing? The man has proven he cares nothing about his cast, and by extension the movie, the franchise and most importantly its fans.

We have all the proof we need now to know that Episode VII will suck! It will be a steaming pile of Bantha poo-doo which will rape our childhoods. I have lost all faith in Disney and humanity.

;)

They could, but that would suck.

Re: New Casting and Story Rumors re: EPISODE VII

Apparently Han never heard of making a stop in the Lanacane system.
