TNG Conventions compared to the others

Hello,
I'm still very new to Star Trek. I was looking for interviews on youtube and ended up watching conventions. I've noticed that the TNG characters are the most lively and the hall always almost ruptures in laughter. There doesn't seem to be those awkward moments. Am I bigoted to believe that TNG actors do really enjoy each others' company and are always funny or are all other star trek conventions equally hilarious ?
Thanks

Personally, I haven't been to a Star Trek convention that didn't encompass all the Treks simultaneously, though I've only been to conventions in Washington DC, Baltimore MD, and San Francisco CA.

Other than one big convention in 86 that featured quite a few original cast members, I mostly attended the ones in the late 80s/early 90s that only had a single guest (this was when Creation had what seemed like a convention somewhere in the Bay Area about once a month, so the business model was to have a lot more smallish conventions rather than just one huge one annually).

That being said, I have heard that the TNG cast probably gets along the best with one another.

I've never been to a convention, but from what I've read about the different casts it seems like the TNG cast gets along the best.

I've been to many conventions with Trek actors, including the big one Creation does in Vegas. It does seem like the TNG actors got along the best and have the deepest bond with each other. You also have a lot of big personalities among the cast which leads to fun panels. The DS9 and ENT cast got along pretty well too, though I don't think they had as much fun on set as the TNG cast. From what I've heard, it was only the TOS and VOY casts that had any meaningful disputes.

...here are my two favorite stories about a more "TNG"-heavy convention:

1) It is 199-something, and I have just purchased my beautiful, authentic, hand-made bat'leth from a surly Klingon vendor...I am on top of the world, and am actively looking for someone to evicerate, just so I know the darn thing works properly...I am scanning for Fresh P'tahk, when I see them...three of them...Klingon warriors all...walking in almost a phalanx, if such a thing is possible in a group of 3...not one of them below 2 meters tall...striding...taking over the space they move in...eyes painfully forward...and the people in front of them...they cannot get out of the way fast enough...like livestock blindly following some instinct to be elsewhere...anyelsewhere...no false make-up...no turtle shell and paint...no...these?...they are from Q'onoS itself...surely of the Council...my vantage brings me eventually perpendicular to them...I hold my "leth "at ease" and lower my gaze...as they are directly in front, I say to the leader, "jaH tlhej quv"...I THINK he may have moved his head a fraction of a millimeter in acknowledgement...they pass, and now I can look more fully...but wait...there are three Convention-goers directly in front of my Klingon Brothers...oblivious...I hesitate to continue watching, but it is a ghoul thing...surely these three are on their way to die, with or without honor...closer, striding...closer...really close now...and my Main Man stops in his tracks, mates stopping behind him, waits for the them to notice, and says, "excuse me" in a suspiciously NOT Klingon voice or accent...then, off they go on their merry way...I was heartbroken...no limbs...no impudence?...killing where one stands?...

...that is a 100% true story...

...my second confirms, for both VOY and TNG, that the casts really enjoyed working and screwing around together (acting silly)...I have had the good fortune to meet a number of actors from both casts, and I asked each the same question, and got affirmatives from each...my feeling was that they were being sincere...nice to know about something so close and beloved to me...

That's sad about the VOY cast. Though, I do recall seeing photo on Garrett Wang's FB page of all (or most) of the male cast members eating out somewhere. IIRC, the guys get together from time to time for a meal.
