cool! I had noticed teh half Taro. It looks quite pretty. Such a nice colour contrast to the dark skinned whole tubers next to it.
If you'd liek to know what the leaves are: I speak and read a little Chinese (had 3 Chinese flatmates as a student, that's why :)). If you can take a snap of the Chinese label, I might perhaps be able to identify the veggie for you.

As for the nemesis - please read my PM and don't take it too serious :) I genuinely enjoy our little discussions.

I posted this in the Art forum, but thought I'd show it here too.

I made this for my wife's birthday this year. She recognized it immediately, as should any Disney parks fan (especially Tom Hendricks right now!) - it's Main Street Station at the Magic Kingdom. She just recently got her black belt, so I used one of the boards she broke to do this. The colors are quite a bit more saturated than I would have liked, but it still came out pretty good.

    Here it is in work:

Here's a closeup of the final, where my wife put it up on the mantle:

^^^Looks like a really great gift BJ. :)

I was in St. Ives on Saturday. These weren't even on my usual camera, there was WiFi so I had my iPad out, I thought the view was great and I could do with a new lock screen and background.
    I took two:

Beautiful photos. I love St. Ives and the entire Penwith area. During our stays our base tends to be in St. Just.

My wife and daughter were out for a walk the other day and my daughter wanted to pick some flowers for me but all she could find were some dandelions. Needless to say my wife didn't let her bring them home, so she took a picture for me instead.

Thanks guys, those were just point and shoot photos. ;)
It was a great day. It got to the low 20s (C), really perfect. I hadn't been to St. Ives since I was very young, I think about 5 years old (somehow, despite living only approx 60 miles away and regularly visiting Truro) so it was great to see it again.

@macloudt, that's almost at Land's End isn't it? Do you visit often? :)

wow! That's an exceptional shot. Photographing falling water is really difficult. What camera and settings did you use?
