I don't see how that's complicated as long as you can understand the relationship dynamics.

And the family histories of Regina and Snow.

Henry sends cards to Regina, Emma and Snow.

Emma sends a card to Snow.

Red sends a card to Granny

Snow could send a card to Regina, but given the whole past history thing, probably not.

Nahhh. Snow would send Regina a card. :)

After all, Regina and Snow bonded again in that ep with the séance to speak with Cora.

    Speaking of tonight's ep.

    spoilers for the west coast.

Why did Robin think his wife's death was his fault?

Who are his in-laws that Marian had to keep their identity a secret from the evil Queen?

When are his lies gonna bite Mr. Gold / Rumplestiltskin in the arse?

When Emma named Hook "Prince Charles", for a horrified moment I thought she was going to call herself Princess Diana. What she did say nearly made me spew my drink across the room!

What did you think about the last 3 minutes?

I guess Emma is just going to have to tell Regina to...;)

Well, this shows the power of Disney...getting both the new cartoon princess (frozen) and the acquired legacy (star wars).

So it looks like Regina is back to evil?

And isn't it too soon for Emma? Neil died, like what 5 days ago...and already making out with a new boyfriend?

I'm disappointed they threw Marian into the mix now, I was really hopping Regina was finally going to be able to be truly happy with Robin.

The time travel stuff was fun, and that ending was certainly.... chilling.

    I'm so sorry, I couldn't resist.

Oh, wow. :luvlove: :weep: The last 5 minutes had me in tears. It was almost like watching a series finale for a moment. Everyone seemed happy. Regina and Robin were really hitting it off. Emma and Hook had their first kiss. Belle and Rumple exchanged vows. Then bam! Maid Marian came along. And it looks like there's a new villainess in town. Ice princess Adele Dazeem.

The two-hour time travel episode had plenty of twists and turns, and I thought Emma really fudged up the timeline. I was glad she and Hook succeded in getting Snow and Charming to meet each other. It was also an epiphany for her, and she came to realize Storybrooke was really her home.

Now Henry's uncle is also named Neal, like his father. :) Looking forward to next season!

Great pair of episodes tonight. I'm really interested to see where they go from here, especially with Marian being alive and the Snow Queen/Elsa character on the loose.

BTW, Emma was one tall pre-teen (Boston flashback that opened Snow Drifts). I guess we know where Henry got his 'tall genes' from.

    I haven't seen Frozen.

Is that the #### from Frozen?

    ####ing McDonalds Happy Meals.

    #### you McDonalds.

Okay here's where I lose it (become angry, not get confused.)... The Chosen One can reference Marty McFly, but has Emma actually seen Back to the Future? That's just ####ed up. Meanwhile every-other bugger with a 10th century education, or NO EDUCATION in an enchanted Forest where time travel is so almost possible that it's just annoyingly partially impossible because of fluid circumstances, that every peasant or pirate can use words like "Timeline" like it's a normal thing...

Have you ever used the word "timeline" to talk about (#### you facebook!) to talk about how the hickups within the space time continuum are making your day unruly?

No? Maybe that's because you';re not a nutbar?

When you do use these fanciful terms, they (assholes with no imagination. You met them. They're everywhere.) look at you like your fell off the turnip wagon, or like Abed talking about the darkest timeline in Community. Good lord, how close was that guy to being stuck in a rubber room!?

Yes the episode(s) were fantastic, but Emma should have been teaching Hook about causality and not the other way around because she had seen Back to the Future and he hadn't!

More so, Hook probably thinks that the world is flat.

About the Leah thing: there IS a real-life Princess Leah, so Emma's choice isn't automatically/exclusively a Star Wars reference.

^Leia, and since Henry said "Nice reference mom," I think it's safe to say that it's a Star Wars reference.

That was an awesome episode. So many emotional moments. Loved seeing Charming and Snow fall in love again and how Emma realized that her home is with her family. Seeing Neal was good too, and when she had that impassioned plea to Rumple to drink the forgetting potion.

I too thought she was going to call herself Princess Diana.

I could have sworn we saw Marion die in an earlier season, or maybe she was just captured? When she wouldn't tell Emma her name I figured it would be her. So I guess now Rumple and Regina are back to being bad. Although I don't think Rumple is as evil as he once was.

And Elsa is in town as well huh. I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the popularity of the movie. Be interesting how they handle her and what her relationships with the other characters are.

I have a question... was it absolutely for sure Robin Hood was the man Regina was supposed to hook up with. I guess because they hadn't cast him, they didn't show Robin's face (or was it just for the episode i am remembering), just his tattoo.

But is it possible that Regina simply assumed it was Robin Hood, and made their almost romance happen? We know Maid Marion is SUPPOSED to be with Robin, according to our legends. But in his band of Merry Men, someone else has the tattoo?

Yes. Adam and Eddy have made that clear.

Actually, they had recast the role by the time they filmed Quite a Common Fairy.

No. As with the first response, Adam and Eddy have said Robin is the person Tink was talking about in QaCF.

This was easily the most fun and entertaining episode (or episodes) in a long time. Even if it was a obvious BTTF homage, watching Emma interact with the fairy tale world was a blast, and seeing everything fresh through her eyes was almost like watching the first great few episodes of the show again.

And while I haven't seen Frozen yet, there's something undeniably cool and exciting about bringing such a new character into this world, and I look forward to seeing what they do with it.

Much like the second half of this season continually threw 'Wicked' in our face, I wonder how many times we will hear the word 'Frozen' next season.

Great season finale. I think I said "ohhh" out loud when Snow and Charming fell in love again. I'm just such a sucker for happy endings.

I really hope Regina has grown. While she has every right to be upset about Marian's sudden appearance, I cross my fingers that she is not becoming evil again. We have already seen her evil. It's time for a new villain. And the snow queen seems to be an interesting choice (haven't seen the movie but the fairytale was one of my favorite ones).

Regina should have the wherewithal to at least acknowledge that the situation she wanted to happen (her being with Robin Hood) would only have happened if she had, in fact, killed his wife while she was evil. Realizing that, she really should be able to get over some of that misplaced anger over what happened. If those events were ever known or revealed, she'd have been screwed whether Emma brought Marion back or not. Neither event is actually Emma's fault.

That said, I'm not convinced Robin is the man Tinkerbell brought Regina to in the first place, either. Do we even know if Robin was an only child (I seem to remember speculation that he had a brother named Thomas), or whether someone was posing as him or something?

Either way, unless it's on screen, it doesn't really matter what anyone says behind the scenes. There's enough wiggle room for the man Tink brought her to to be anyone. Robin was just an assumption based solely on a tattoo.

I have those doubts too , but on a previous page, people said the producers said it was indeed him.

i'd like to think that was one of his Merry Men that also got the tattoo (a "gang" thing). Robin & Marion are part of the legend... would in that legend could possibly have the Evil Queen as his bride...
