PICTURE POST II!

I'm a a little late to the party, but congratulations mari!

Kestra, looks like you throw a hell of a party. :techman:

Nice day at the beach with #mahomies.

Thanks! It's at a beautiful cliff line portion of the Baltic Sea coast. The landmass on the other side is actually the other side of the fjord (near Eckernförde). The dogs always have a blast when we're over there. :techman:

Apologies for the crappy phone photo, but I didn't dare get any closer to the birds. Several geese and a swan relax close to the quay along the River Exe in Exeter. These birds weren't bothered by my walking up to them because they are not parents guarding nests. As you can see, the geese are almost as big as the swan, and you don't mess with any of them, especially when they're protective parents guarding their nests. There are dozens of swan, goose and duck nests along the river, and soon there are going to be lots of little balls of floof swimming along with their parents in the river. :)

Pretty. We get geese in our area but I only rarely spot them. Plenty of ducks, though. There are times the local waterways are full of them and they're entertaining to watch bob around on the surface.

:adore: Ducks!

Niiiiiiice, Kes!

Classy! Looks like a whole lot of good, engaging fun.

You really went all out, Kes - looks like it was a great time!

Kestra, lovely set up.

Thanks guys! I got help with character ideas from a lot of BBS members on FB, plus Robert Maxwell and Stoo helped me with the clues. It was a little difficult because I've been sick, but I think everyone had a lot of fun. Would be fun to do this sort of thing with people from TBBS!

Thanks everyone! :) After I posted those pics, I got swamped in baby stuff for a few days. He is both tiny and huge at the same time - he was 8 lbs 2 oz when he was born, and has since put on another 4 oz (as of Tuesday, so probably more by today).

Kestra, the party looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could do something like that, especially with the retro noir theme, but my parties usually end up being chips, dips and Mario Kart. My favorite out of that set is the Reese's cups spilling out of the wineglass. (Also, is it wrong that when I see "murder mystery" I immediately think of Raj's party on Big Bang Theory?)

Ian at his first T-ball practice. He has his first game this Saturday, will probably post a whole lot more from that. He's has started his road to the Hall of Fame.

Great decorations, Kes! And adorable doggies SPCTRE!

Finally got myself a sporran and a belt buckle for my kilt set. Also some new kilt hose but sadly the don't go much further up than the old ones.
