What games are you playing currently?

The recently released Age of Wonders III has caught my eye, but I don't want to pay $40 for a game in a franchise that I've never played before. So I bought the first Age of Wonders on GOG for $2.99.

Age of Wonders sucks. On the bright side, I forgot that I had bought X-Com: Enemy Unknown a few months ago and never played it. Now that's a TBS game done right.

I picked up the just released Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Mario Golf: World Tour for the 3DS tonight. I took Monday off at work, so I'll have plenty of time to play these awesome games this weekend.

I've been playing a lot of Project Gotham Racing (the first one) recently. It's easily one of my favorite racing games, the kudos system really gives it that "I can do better this time" flavor (constantly trying to better my previous high score). I know other games have taken that concept and improved on it, but I think PGR has got a nice risk/reward balance. :techman:

Holy crap, The Last of Us is amazing!

I am emotionally exhausted, and it's only spring.

Tried a little more Skyrim and to be honest, going to sell it. Damned if I can enjoy this "award winning" thing. This is popular? really?

I'm right there with you. I don't think I've ever been more bored with a game.

It would be ok if dozens of NPC's weren't trying to kill me for just walking to their town all the fucking time. I can't play more than five minutes a time without being ambushed or killed, I'm on level 4 or something.

The landscape is looking more and more 2002-esque for quality and programming, the controls are too frustrating and a lot of the game is in silence broken only by being jumped by glitched wolves.

Sod it, bargin bin it is.

Found the same thing with Morrowind and Skyrim, Got bored quickly and couldn't see what was so good about it. FallOut 3 on the other hand...

I'm just really tired of constantly being attacked by random wolves.

I had a hell of a lot more fun playing the Brave tie-in game which for a movie tie in is a perfectly solid game in its own right, that had a better medieval combat feeling to it and a better sense of accomplishement.

Now if only I could get control of half the cars in Hot Pursuit I'd be set for now lol.

They're so glitched they sometimes kill themselves burying themselves halfway in the dirt doing the "baying" animation. The rest I've managed to kill them with the cinematic without them touching me. But its happening too often, yeah. In real life if I'd killed that many (aside from legal problems) they'd either get the message and fuck off or be too few in number to keep it up lol.

Still flitting between Kingdom of Loathing, Elite: Dangerous Alpha and Doctor Who: Legacy. Also, Pointless. :D

I've had this on every system since my 386

TES III: Morrowind, actually. Still a fantastic game.

Granted, I'd say it wouldn't hold up without my hefty dose of nostalgia.

Right now I am obsessing over Dawn of Discovery (ANNO 1404), the predecessor to the current ANNO game. It's still so much fun to play.
