Why did Walsh remember he was beholding to the Wicked Witch if all their memories were wiped? :vulcan:

I must have missed the revelation that the people in Storybrook had been back for 3 months, when did they say that?

I loved how Henry recognized "Mr Smead" as being from the "Peter Pan" story and wonder why he never put the handless pirate together with that bit of info. :)

Do you think any of the monkeys they killed last night were Princess Aurora, Prince Philip, or Little John? :weep:

No. If ABC had licensed Narnia from Doug Gresham, a big deal would be made of it and we would know that it was happening.

I would not completely rule out the possibility. An article I read on EW two years ago indicated that elements from Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and Chronicles of Narnia could be incorporated into to the series. We know at least Wonderland became a spin-off.

I miscalculated things insofar as the timeline/chronology is concerned earlier, so I'd like to retract my statement that Zelena sent Walsh to NYC following events in this episode. I had misremembered the 8 months reference we got from New York Serenade and erroneously conflated it with the 8 months reference in this episode.

Answering the earlier query about how we know Snow and Co. were back in Storybrooke for 3 months or so before Emma's return, they cast the new Curse between 8 and 9 months following their return to the EF, and we know that Hook didn't find Emma until an entire year had passed since their return to the EF, meaning that there's a gap of between 3 to 4 months between when the Curse was cast and when Emma, Henry, and Hook returned to Storybrooke.

I was wondering about that as well. I hope they didn't.

Great episode. I really enjoyed Snow's and Regina's relationship. Also, the twist who was behind the dark curse was really neat. For Hook I felt a bit sorry, though. Snow, Charming and especially Emma were really hard on him.

OMG, I got something right! Well, not the Regina part but the rest of it. That's so exciting, I'm usually wrong about pretty much everything.:mallory:

I thought it was cute in the flashbacks that Snow White's outfit and hair looked very similar to the original Disney cartoon.

Except she wasn't pregnant in the cartoon. ;)

Well, it seemed like a ho-hum, formulaic episode ...

That's the worst representation of CPR I've ever seen on a tv show. All she did was blow once into the guy's mouth and then wait. Newsflash: you shouldn't even bother blowing in the mouth unless you're trained in CPR. Chest compressions will probably do the job just fine, and an expert shouldn't even add in the rescue breathing until after 30 chest compressions.

Wow. I didn't realize Rumple still had it in him. He tricked and lied to Belle by giving her the fake dagger and promised her he wouldn't hurt Zelena, although he had every reason to have his revenge on her. For a moment I thought he was being good like Regina, but I guess the show still needs a bad guy.

Nice flashback story of Dorothy and Glinda and how Zelena deceived them into thinking she had been defeated. Now where does that portal lead?

Sounds like Rumple pulls a 'Rupert Giles' on Zelena. Good for him. He's at his best when he's acting like the Severus Snape of this franchise (noble but not particularly nice).

The promo for next week's Double Feature makes it sound like the show is going to take the characters to a new land, but I'm betting the show takes them and us to another TIME in a familiar land due to the emphasis the writers put on Zel's plan being about changing the past.

    Cool cliffhanger.

I liked Charming being protective dad, both with Emma when he insisted Hook went with her and when he jumped straight into action after Zelena took the baby.

    Loved Regina using light magic.

Rumple's turn was...well, I wish he could turn over a new leaf but it's not going to happen. I hope Belle doesn't just accept it though.

The stuff in Oz was...eh. It was kinda cool to see Dorothy but something seemed off about the witches. Glinda didn't really react at all to Dorothy killing Zelena, and then she takes Dorothy to Oz to try and get him home even though she's said he's a trickster that never delivers on his promises?

Regina had that weird little smile when when she put the pendant away as well. What the heck was that about.

I'm guessing that Glinda was only concerned with the prophecy of the savior that would be brought to Oz by a cyclone. She initially believed it was Zelena, even after Dorothy subsequently arrived. When Dorothy melted Zee with a bucket of water, Glinda was again thinking of the prophecy that just came to pass, but little did she know that would be a wrong assumption.

I think that was to show that Regina is still not completely redeemed and still has evil tendencies.

Dorothy looked and sounded disturbingly like Henry in drag.

“Snow Drifts”/”There’s No Place Like Home” – While Mary Margaret and David celebrate the naming of their son at a coronation in Granny’s Diner, Emma and Hook are pulled into Zelena’s time portal and find themselves in the Enchanted Forest of the past. But in their quest to discover a way back, they must be careful not to change ANYTHING or risk altering the lives of their friends and family — as well as their very own existence, on the two-hour season finale of “Once Upon a Time"

Also Meghan Ory guest stars in both episodes

Gaaah, stop making me cry every... fucking... episode...!!!

And someone give Lana Parilla an Oscar, an Emmy. Anything! She is the best thing that has happened to drama since Jodie Foster.

    I enjoyed this one.
I liked seeing Regina using light magic. I am curious if Zelena's pendant is going to come into play somewhere.
I liked the stuff in Oz. I was curious how/if the Dorothy story played out in this, and I thought they way they did it was pretty good. I did notice that apparently Zelena and Glinda were only ones who were good or wicked.
The end caught me off guard. I was surprised that everything was tied up before the end of the season, and then they threw that last bit at us.
That description for next week sounds like it could be cool.

Mother's Day must be a complicated holiday in Storybrook.

    Regina is Emma's mother's stepmother.

Emma is Regina's adopted son's biological mother. :vulcan:

Happy "Day" ladies... party like it's 1999. :rommie:
