X-MEN: Days Of Future Past (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

Well at the end of the day, whatever went dow-... Whatever did or did not happen, there are such things as presumption of innocence and the burden of proof. Anything else here is just idle speculation and it's really for the courts to sort out.

Honestly though, true or not the timing of the accusation screams "I want a pay-off!"

Man, that last trailer was pretty sweet though. After the awesomeness of Cap 2, then the disappointment of Spidey 2, I needs me X-Men flick to kick my ass. And then Guardians a few months later. :)

Those are all things for the legal system. People are free to think whatever they want to think, believe whatever they want to believe, and suspect whatever they want to suspect.

Honestly though, true or not the timing of the accusation screams "I want a pay-off!"
Or "I want to hurt him as bad as he hurt me."

If the allegations are true, I hope the kid gets justice.

There's quite a bit to wonder about it so far, though.

The timing is suspicious
He supposedly was flown to Hawaii multiple times to be raped (Can't you pick up a boy toy on a street corner in Hawaii much easier than flying one in to rape? and why would he keep going back for more after the first time?)
The guy also says he's got more Lawsuits in the wings to expose more Hollywood Executives

To paraphrase Baby Herman in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, "The whole thing smells like yesterdays diapers!"

As been pointed out this scenario does not make any sense when scrutinized.

To be fair, we only know the scenario as presented in articles. It's hearsay and should be treated as such. The official charges are certainly more detailed and make more sense.

Pulling this discussion away from this guy's 'money-grab' lawsuit and back on topic, I'm really interested in seeing how Singer and Co. address Xavier switching back and forth between his wheelchair and being able to stand and walk.

Xavier being able to alternate between his wheelchair and standing is clearly meant to correspond with what we were shown in both Origins: Wolverine and The Last Stand, but I'm interested to see what the 'clinical' in-story explanation for it is, especially since it's unequivocally clear at this point that the 'past' events of DoFP are only going to postpone certain events from the previous films so that they occur later than they would have had DoFP's events not occurred rather than completely erasing them from existence.

I know this is sounding pedantic, but I feel it's important to distinguish criminal and civil. They're not official charges. The best term would be "claims."

We'll see if the claims turn out to be true, but I do think it's best to see how things play out.
