Me and the dog! Keppet being amazing. Keppet having fun by trying to avoid the camera... Keppet killing a plushie. And finally me with my fancy phaser! Not the best way to hold a weapon I supose..
These flowers are in our front yard. I'm not sure what they are, and I'm hoping someone who is familiar with flowers might know what they are. I think they're gorgeous, and I tried to capture the light so their colors could be as accurate as possible. Any ideas? EDIT: They're Hyacinth.
It was a glorious day here in Central NY. The last of the snow melted yesterday and today it was 70°. I was able to finally work on the yard a bit, Ian was helping me. He made a new friend, Squirmy the Wormy.
BennieGamali, those are some wonderful shots of the dog. I especially enjoy the Trek dog tag! J. Allen, you're right ... you've got some gorgeous flowers there! Nice captures, especially the second one!
OMG I am so freaking pissed off with flickr. I have been using them for years. Now you can only post photos that are public, but even then they seem to disappear and be unavailable at times.
My camera is better with graffiti than astronomy.. these were taken in the last hour in front of my house. It never really got very red, more like dried blood LOL
VERY cool! And I'm rather envious because it was raining here last night. I'm glad to see others had a chance to capture the event, though!
Great shots there, teacake! My part of the U.S. East coast was covered in clouds and rain so we missed it.
Excellent photos, teacake. Kingston was rained in, so all we got were TV shots and great pics, like yours.
I forgot to respond to this. I started using Flickr a few months ago and I haven't had any issues setting photos to private. That's my default, in fact. Is the option not appearing for you anymore? I just updated my photostream a day or two ago and the option was still there for me.
Yesterday it was 81° I was wearing shorts and we had the windows open. Today it's 32°, snowing and have the heat on.
I got to see the eclipse last night, but I don't know enough about photography to actually take a decent picture of it. Everything I tried just turned out super blurry.
My wife and son are on Spring Break. They sent this to me this afternoon... The Greatest City on Earth, from Griffith Observatory. Not too bad for an iPhone picture.
