Discipline or Regret is the choice we're given in this world.
How tedious.
Even more depressing than tedious.

Isn't it party or regret?
I thought it was cake or pie.
Outstanding!Don't know yet what I'll do this year. Tourguide for blind people through the regional flower show, propably. Or interpretor for foreign visitors.
Both are perhaps not particularly Christian
I can't imagine a world without God. I wouldn't want to. It goes without saying that spirituality is an important part of the Human Condition. If you've ever gotten something out of exploring it, or believe you ever could receive something from it, then it would be a mistake to not try to return to it. I'm glad you've made it your "Lenten Project." I hope that you're successful.God and I have barely been on speaking terms for years, so my Lenten project is to pray -- if only for a couple minutes -- every day. I'm probably remembering two out of three days so far.
Quite.I don't think he's pulling your leg, I think he's saying service acts are great.
Why should we do all the work? If God has something to say he can bloody well say it.
Ah, thank you for explaining, {{{teacake}}}. It's very difficult to detect undercurrents in a foreign language and since both jobs are quite easy and fun to do I was not certain whether it was a serious or joking remark.I don't think he's pulling your leg, I think he's saying service acts are great.
