Surprised no one said anything yet... Lots of commercials for Resurrection on ABC...but hello, no one let them know about The Walking Dead on A **M ** C? We'll have to watch it On Demand! If it weren't on against The Walking Dead, i'd have watched it. Seeing Kurtwood SMith (That 70's Show; Robocop) & Frances Fisher (Eureka) play characters different than how I have seen them really intrigued me...and the creator of the show is African American...and the premise... So we'll see. Hope they give the show a chance. At least ride it out till after The Walking Dead
Here in Australia, they've played the same exact advert so many times that I can't stand the thought of even bothering to watch the show itself.
I wonder if the series is based on a novel with the same premise. I forget the title and the author's name.
It was well written, beautiful cinematography, and interesting... But they haven't said what's really going on yet. kinda curious, kinda pissed off that it was so slow. Believe is coming out in a couple days, of which I saw a preview of last week, and that's god vs. the Devil and magic children and prophecy and kung fu and...
So all theories are up in the air -Aliens? -Clones? -Military experiment where someone is giving another chance for certain people after their loved ones have died?
Resurrection looks interesting. I will certainly watch the next episode. Resurrection is said to be based on The Returned, a French TV Show. The Wikipedia article on the The Returned makes that show sound very interesting.
Yes. I couldn't stand Cosmos for more than 5 minutes so I watched this instead. And being that this show got twice was viewers than Cosmos on Fox I'm not the only one.
I thought the Cosmos series premiere was fun to watch, especially with host being the black guy from Hot Tub Time Machine.
It seems you are wrong. This article tries to explain what is based on what. http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat...ey_came_back_what_s_the_difference_video.html
I find the commercials creepy.Once the reason for the resurrection is revealed I might go back and binge watch the series. Has anyone read the novel by Mott?
It was an interesting mystery. I will keep recording it while I watch Walking Dead as long as it continues to be interesting.
That's one of the advantages to being in Az, I got to watch both this and TWD live. I wasn't blown away, but I enjoyed it. It did take it's time, but I though that the pacing worked really well for the story they were telling. Definitely sticking with it for the time being.
Me &my wife really liked , and will be looking to futureepisodes. I thought Kurtwood SMith and Frances Farmer were phenomenal, showing a very different side of them (compared to other characters they have played). I am interested to see where they go with the faith angle...I think so far, it's been good and fair. Definitely worth some good discussion in the future.
Was this supposed to be a joke or did you actually confuse (astrophysicist) Neil deGrasse Tyson with (comedy actor) Craig Robinson?
