J.J. Abrams Almost Human

Really enjoyed this episode. I'm glad that they are doing more episodes focused around a real sci-fi concept. It was nice to spend some more time with Stahl.
I do agree that the end was sad. Definitely not what I was expecting.
I really hope we get some clue what's on the other side of The Wall next week, it definitely seems to be something that scares the average citizen.

You do understand that the producers believe that every episode is incredibly super sciencefictionistic, and it's not something they believe that they have ever strayed from... :)

They mention both chromes and the wall... I know it's out of order, but was there originally supposed to be any gap after John Larroquette went over the wall?

^Same here! Great episode once again. The chemistry between Kennex and Dorian is great. I really hope it gets renewed.

Wow, I didn't realize they screwed with the episode order that much. That does explain why the ongoing arcs have seemed to jump around so much. It'll be interesting to watch them in production order once it's out on DVD (and Netflix streaming, hopefully). Why do so many shows get shown out of order like that? It's never made sense to me.

Finally saw Monday's episode and I agree that it was pretty good but they went a little overboard with all the talk of how Stahl is a chrome. It's excellent character development for her though. There's a lot they can mine from this revelation.

I figured that the word chrome was meant to indicate "a polished finish" but it seems that it can also be short for "chromosome". Source.

Strongest episode of the season. Has a look and feel all its own, and while the writing breaks no revolutionary ground, it takes potential future technological developments and wraps a human element around them.

Crossing fingers for a renewal! :)

Enjoyed the music score too! Slightly Vangelis, and I loved that the last scene was at the Blade Runner noodle bar.

Yes, I really like the music in this show too. It's got that slightly retro 80s feel to it.
